Shane took another look at Bette and shook her head.
“There is something you’re not telling me about this woman, but that’s okay. I’ll accept it for now. When you’re ready to talk about this mystery lady, I’m ready to listen. I have this feeling that this lady isn’t just a lady…………….enjoy your appointment tomorrow. What time do you guys meet?”
“I’m suppose to pick her up at eight at the grocery store. She’ll take me to the market and then we’ll take it from there. I’m feeling good Shane. Don’t know why, but I’m feeling good. Feeling like I’m walking on cloud nine. And guess what……..”
“What……”
“She doesn’t have a boyfriend, she’s single.”
“Really?” Shane didn’t want to spoil Bette’s mood. Not having a boyfriend didn’t mean she could be single. Maybe she had a girlfriend. But Shane was wise enough not to burst Bette’s bubble.
“Good for you, Missy, good for you.”
“I got to run, Shaney. I don’t want to wake up late. So I’ll shower at home. I didn’t bring anything with me anyway.”
“How will you go home?”
“The way I came, running.”
“Wait, I’ll give you a ride home.”
“Okay.”
Bette waited for Shane to clean and lock up. A few minutes later she was home.
Saturdaymorning:
Tina’s POV
Tina woke up after her alarm went off. She turned it off and turned around………………
Then she jumped up. She was about to go back to her dream when she remembered that today was Saturday. The day that she would show Bette around the neighborhood. She walked to her bathroom and took her shower. She made sure she took her time. She already knew what she would wear so she didn’t loose too much time in chosing her clothes.
She would take Bette to a nice place to have breakfast, so she didn’t eat at home. She only drank some coffee.
A last look in the mirror, Tina grabbed her keys and her shopping bags and left her house.
Exactly at eight o’clock she walked to the front of the grocery store. She saw that Bette was already standing there. Bette hadn’t seen her yet so she took her time to take a good look at Bette.
Tina was mesmerized by her beauty. The skin, her hair, her body. Damn, that woman looked good. It sent a chill through her body. But then Tina froze. What if Bette didn’t like women. What if she wasn’t gay but straight? That thought never occured Tina before and she felt sad at the thought.

Wow! Thanks for the shout out! I was excited when I got back from my meeting and saw this post. I loved it! Tina will go back I feel and talk to Bette. Well, I’m off to take a nap before I go to work at 5pm. I pray there’s another post before or after I get off work. Thanks again! PPS
