…..New Story…no title…….chapter 13
Sonny smiled and shook his head. This side of his woman made him fell in love with Kit in the first place. She was all-in-all a lady but if you hurt someone she cared for………..boy, she could turn into her ghetto mood. You’d better run…………
Tina smiled and walked away. She walked to their bedroom, where she found Bette standing in front of the window looking outside.
She walked up to her and wrapped her arms around her and sighed.
“Hey babe, you’re alright?”
Bette placed her arms on top of Tina’s. She shook her head and whispered no.
“I can’t say, I can relate because I can’t. But talk to me, how can I help you? I’m on your side Bette, I’m not the enemy. I’m also afraid so I understand that part. But disagree against the surgery is not wise. It’s a chance we should take. If we don’t we’ll never know the outcome and we will always will have that nagging question: what if……….”
“I know Tee, I’m sorry that I reacted the way I did. But I’m afraid, afraid that my father will die. It’s hard to except that he’s sick. I can’t stand the thought of losing him again.”
“Bette, turn around.”
Bette turned around and Tina could see the tears in her eyes.
“You know sweetie, your father will die, as will I, your sister, Sonny, everyone. I don’t want to upset you with what I’m saying, but it’s just that dying is a natural thing for us humans. Every surgery is tricky and a risk. But if we are strong for your father, if he knows that we support him, I’m sure he’ll get through this surgery. We have to be strong, you, Kit, Sonny and me. Please baby, be strong for your father. Doubt is something we cannot use right now.”
Tina kissed Bette’s tears away and while talking to her looked her in the eyes. Bette looked back at Tina and her heart was filled with love for her blond angel.
“I’m sorry Tee, I’m so sorry. There’s a lot that I need to learn. Keep talking to me, that is what I need. Your strenght and understanding are helping me. Thank you.”
Bette kissed Tina on her lips. The kiss started softly and deepened. Tina was the one who broke the kiss.

Fantastic update!
I am glad that Melvin got through the surgery and will have a good recovery.
It is important that both the girls have people, friends, family or in case of Tina Mr.Fairbanks around them to support them in their journey in life. Bette is already learning that it is important to communicate with Tina and others. She is insecure, but is taking small steps in the right direction. I understand that it is to early for the girls to share their lives at this, moment, they both have much that they need to overcome and deal with it. They can support each other but also need time for them self.
This is a wonderful story! And i hope you will update soon.

Very glad you give us these 23 chapters.
It seems that Bette will open your heart completely
Tina. If talk about the past makes you well, go ahead Bette, otherwise Tina will respect the limit of your partner … more in my opinion, a tasty
relationship is mutual trust between partners.
The entire universe.

Hi my friend,
I’ve had a re- read of this great story and two years down the line want to appeal for an update if it is only in the form of an Epilogue!
Come on, girl brush off the cobwebs from your writing talent and put pen to paper!
I need to know why I don’t trust Marina!
I need to know about Big Bertha’s Twin brother!
I could go on but won’t:-)

I’m a day late and a dollar short….but where’s the rest of the story? What happened? Did Melvin recover? Did Bette go to the clinic?
Annie says

I agree I hate when there is no ending to a fab story
I know after all these years there won’t be one.
I feel now I need to check a story before I read it to ensure there is an ending
