They both smiled at each other for a moment before Tina let out a yawn and Bette chuckled

“Excuse me..I’m sorry” Tina apologized feeling slightly embarrassed

“Hey don’t worry about that.  Why don’t you get some rest.  I’ll go up front and talk with the others” Bette said about to get up but was stopped by Tina’s hand grabbing her arm

“Don’t go” Tina said softly. “I mean you don’t have to leave”

Bette nodded “Ok” she smiled and leaned back agains the sofa with Tina snuggling into her arm with her head resting again on her shoulder

And after a few minutes of silence Tina was asleep and Bette not knowing she was even sleepy her self nodded off with her head coming to rest on the top of Tina’s

Gretchen had stood up to grab her book from the compartment above her head and caught the sight of Bette and Tina sleeping and cuddled up together

“Hey guys look” she whispered and pointed toward the two

The rest of them craned their necks looking back and light giggles erupted from the dancers.

“Go get a picture” Bill urged Gretchen who grabbed her cellphone and stealth like made her way to the back quickly snapping the picture and went back to the front not disturbing the sleeping beauties.

She shows it to the others.

“Oh my God they look so cute” Ellen beamed  and handed the phone to Steve

“Is that drool on Tina’s chin?” He said earning an elbow in the side from Ellen. ”Owwww”  He hissed quietly glaring at Ellen who had a satisfied look on her face.  He shook his head and handed the phone to Bill

“Awwww..Look at Bette with her woman”

Gretchen slapped Bill lightly in the head “She doesn’t know Karen told us about that so shut it”

“Alright God…It’s not like Tina doesn’t like her.  I mean she never had taken an interest in anyone since I have gotten to know her” he says passing the phone to Frank

“Well I’ve known Tina a long time and after that bitch Allison cheated on her and left her she deserves to be happy and I like Bette so if something happens between them then I’m for it” he says handing the phone back to Gretchen who nods

“Yeah.  I agree.  So who wants to bet they get together before New York”

“New York?..But that’s next week” Bill questioned

“Exactly” Gretchen nods “So who is in?”

“Me” Ellen raised her hand

“Me too” Steve followed

“Make that three” Frank said

Bill shook his head “I bet they don’t”

Gretchen chuckles “I’m going they will…So what are we playing for”

“How about if I am right the four of you have to give me $50 each of your pay for New York and if I am wrong I will streak naked through the hotel”. He says feeling the top of his head being lightly tapped on by a hand once again

“Bill be serious” Gretchen scolds “You will not embarrass Tina like that.  We don’t care but Tina does not need that kind of scandal on her tour”

Ellen speaks up “I got it…If the four of us win the bet Bill has to carry our bags for the next two shows and if he wins then we each have to carry his for him for two shows”

There was silence for a moment until another voice chimed in

“How about you five leave it alone”

“You want in on the bet Ollie?” Gretchen asks

Ollie doesn’t take his eyes off the road

“No. And y’all should let it go.  Don’t take bets on something that is going to eventually happen”

“You see it to” Gretchen says

“I saw it last night” he says as the others shrug forgetting the bet and resumed their regular chatter.
