    Talking, bad weather and going back to school

    “Tina you are going to be late “ Emma shouted
    “I am up “ Tina replied as she put on her white shirt and buttoned it . Maybe it hadn’t been a good idea to get into a long text conversation with Bette until well after midnight. Bette had suddenly gone quiet which usually meant she had fallen asleep with her phone in her hand. Tina thought that was really cute that Bette often did that – she really wasn’t a night owl. Tina was thinking about Bette when her phone beeped
    “On my way over for you – xx “
    Damn – Tina put her skirt on and her shoes and looked at herself in the mirror- -yes – she looked good. Good enough to come out to most of the school ? Yes – that was something that was she was looking forward to. They were going to be as out as Shane and Carmen. Happy that she looked good Tina headed into the kitchen  – Emma was eating toast and reading the newspaper.
    “I did wonder if you were telling me you were up from under the duvet “
    “I would never do that “
    “Of course you wouldn’t – are you going to have some breakfast ?”
    “Yes  – cereal for me I think “
    Emma watched as Tina strolled around the kitchen – she did look like she had grown a couple of inches over the summer  – or maybe she was just carrying herself with more confidence. She certainly looked more mature – her skirt was not too short but short enough to show off her long legs. The heels were flat – yes – she looked like a Senior and Emma was very proud of her – they had a lovely young woman as a daughter.

    Tina was eating her cereal when Kate came in with Bette behind her
    “Is this going to become  The Breakfast Club ?” Kate asked
    “Hello “ Bette said smiling. Emma looked at her daughter’s girlfriend. Now here was a young woman who had grown and changed. Emma remembered only a few months ago when Bette would call for Tina to go to school together. Bette seemed to have matured by a couple of years. She looked much older than Tina and yes – she was beautiful. Her long dark hair was neatly tied back and she had more of a heel on shoes than Tina. She was in trousers and her uniform looked like a business suit on her.
    “I am ready to go “ Tina jumped up and headed out of the door to join Bette
    “Will you be washing that bowl up later ?” Emma asked
    “Sorry “Tina pulled a face at Bette and went back into the kitchen
    “Ignore your mother “ Kate said “ I will load the dishwasher before we go to work – go on – have a good first day back”
    “Are you two coming out today ?” Emma asked
    “Probably “ Tina said
    “Definitely “ Bette said
    “Well good luck – don’t let anyone demean you for who you both are but you might not get everyone to understand or approve “
    “We know “ Bette said
    “We will be fine “ Tina added
    When they had left and the front door slammed behind them Emma sighed “I can remember her first day at school – she was so innocent and sweet “
    “Nothing innocent about her anymore “ Kate smiled “ She is fine – they will look out for one another – don’t worry “

    Arriving at school Bette stopped them in the corridor – they were about to walk into their home room and they were going to walk in hand in hand leaving no one under any doubt that they were very much a couple.
    “Are you okay ?” Bette asked
    Tina nodded
    “You said probably when your mom asked if we were coming out today – are you having cold feet ?”
    “Yes but I  think we need to do it anyway”
    “Say the word and we can just walk in as friends”
    Tina shook her head “No – I am what I am and what I am is a lesbian and I am proud of that and proud of you. We need to do it  – we need to show all the baby dykes that its okay to feel the things that we felt for so long and we were so ashamed of and confused by. “ Tina kissed Bette fully on the lips “ I love you so much – you have changed my life in ways that I don’t always realise until I look back at what I used to be like”
    “No doubts ?” Bette said taking Tina’s hand
    “None at all when it comes to you or us – lets start term Bette”
    Bette kissed Tina on the lips
    “You are my one and only “

    2. Sorry to see you retiring from the site but as I have told you many times, I want to see your name on a book cover and now that will be happening. Congratulations that you have made that decision. As others have stated I am counting on relapses. And I will ask as well for more on the LWing, we have missed it. Whatever you write, you know I will read. You will be missed and again congratulations.

Great end to a great story.Have loved it from the beginning.So sorry you are retiring from Tibette but understand after eight years a break will be good for you.Like others we hope you have the odd relapse and come back to this site.Please keep us in touch with all your future writing.Would love to know where we will be able to read your new stories.I have come to love your stories over the past two years of trying to catch up with them all on this site.You have become one of my favourite authors and we will miss you on here but will catch up with you and Lord Rocky elsewhere.

L WING is one of my favorites fanfic ever, and is the reason for I find this site.I could read it every day (so far I’ve reread several times). I am very sorry to haven’t more of this fantastic story .. :( :( :(

While other writers have faded away due to thing or another, you’ve were a wonderful constant. Your stories were varied, interesting, dramatic and well thought out. Your leaving will definitely leave a large void on this site. Your are if not almost the last of the “big time” authors on this site. Please let us know when you’ve been published.
