    Bette followed immediately, quickly walking on the opposite side of the room as she planned to cut into the path Tina took. She breezed through the crowd, her eyes on that gorgeous fan of feathers as she desperately tried to make it to her destination.

    She leaned against a wall in the shadowed hall that led to Kit’s office and waited as patiently as she could for the blonde to pass.

    Her mind raced with all the things she wanted to say, leaving Bette with the hope that she wouldn’t mess up the opportunity.

    She peeked around the corner and spotted Tina making her way over, acting from a place of instinct rather than logic.

    She grabbed the blonde by the hand as she walked passed and pulled her into the shadows, holding her against the frame of her body before either woman even realizing what was happening.

    “Be-”

    Tina’s words, any chance she had at protest was immediately silenced when Bette leaned in and kissed the breath right out of her.

    And oh, what a kiss it was.

    Bette pressed their lips together so hard and so hungrily that Tina’s body bowed back in response, her arms instantly wrapping around the brunette’s neck to keep herself from falling backwards.

    The kiss was wild and desperate, a passionate battle of lips and tongue.

    They moaned into each other’s mouth, the sounds blending together to create singular sound.

    The kiss seemed to last forever, each attempt at pulling away was thwarted when the other woman leaned in to resume the embrace. They were drugged up on each other, both feeling blissed out of their minds when they finally pulled away.

    Bette’s eyes remained closed as she pressed her forehead against Tina’s and struggled for breath, her heart pounding so harshly against her chest she was sure that it would break through any second. She licked her swollen lips and swallowed at the intensity of the aura around them, it was intoxicating.

    This wasn’t at all how she had planned or expected for things to happen but Bette couldn’t find it in herself to regret anything. There was just one thing though. The way Tina kissed her .. it felt different.

    Ignoring the feeling of unease in her stomach, Bette wrapped an arm around Tina’s waist as the other hand trailed up to touch the soft blonde hair she had loved so much.

Ok this is by far my favorite story lol.. there so much going on and strong love that just can’t catch a break… and Emma has to be the most blind person I know.. how all this time she hasn’t figured out Tina is the ex and Bette loves her.. lol. She forget the costume she has on is not her own and taste Bette breath to know there is no way in hell she could have known it was her. She is so freaking shallow and you dont love Bette she dont fit in to your world at all. Lol love love love your story. thank you.

    8. I was reading this chapter again and realized I didn’t end up leaving a comment the first time so I had to say just how much I am absolutely LOVING this story!

      I knew there was gonna be a good old switch as soon as they were alone in that bathroom but reading it through was better than I could have imagined!

    18. Ahhhh oh my god. I hope she can tell Tina and Alice tells Tina Bette was going to her I hope she understands that Bette wouldn’t do that with Emma. But ahhhh I can’t wait for the next chapter. Oh I really hope you will continue this fic but I hope Tina will understand that it was the mask change that threw her off and they can finally finally just be together. Ahhh I can’t not have this story unfinished please continue
