    She turned and walked away before Alice could stop her, leaving the blonde staring at her retreating back.

    “Tasha. Tasha!”

    With a heavy sigh, Alice placed her hands on her hips as her eyes scanned the area. She spotted Bette a moment later at the bar with a taunting expression on her face. She stood frozen in place as the brunette seemed to be speaking to herself in a mocking manner, a smile tugging at Alice’s face.

    “Let me take you home and make you forget all about Bette. Bette, who?” Bette rolled her eyes as she brought the glass in her hand to her lips, pausing for a moment before throwing back the contents.

    Alice’s eyes shifted to Bette’s point of interest and noticed Tina out on the dance floor with Brenda before once more focusing on her best friend.

    “What the fuck are you doing?”

    “Enjoying the party” Bette offered simply without meeting Alice’s eye, her words terribly slurred. “What are you doing?”

    Alice pursed her lips as considered her current romantic situation. She slipped her rainbow jacket off her shoulders and moved to take a seat beside Bette at the bar, “About to drown my sorrows”

    She signaled for a drink as she watched while one was placed in front of Bette, wondering how in the hell did the brunette get a refill that fast.

    “So, what h-happened with you and Tasha?” Bette hiccupped as she looked into her drink.

    Alice smiled in thanks at the bartender who placed a beer in front of her, “Dana called while Tasha and I were making out in the parking lot. The first time she called I let it go to voicemail but then she called again so I picked up thinking it was an emergency”

    Bette placed an elbow on the bar and rested her hand in her upraised palm, her cheeks pink due to her intoxicated state, “And was it?”

    Alice shrugged and rolled her eyes as she looked at the beer sitting in front of her. “I don’t know. Something about Lara buying a house or whatever”

Ok this is by far my favorite story lol.. there so much going on and strong love that just can’t catch a break… and Emma has to be the most blind person I know.. how all this time she hasn’t figured out Tina is the ex and Bette loves her.. lol. She forget the costume she has on is not her own and taste Bette breath to know there is no way in hell she could have known it was her. She is so freaking shallow and you dont love Bette she dont fit in to your world at all. Lol love love love your story. thank you.

      I knew there was gonna be a good old switch as soon as they were alone in that bathroom but reading it through was better than I could have imagined!

      Hope you’ve got the new chapter just about ready to go!! You are super talented and I was floored by the fact that some of the lines you used in this story were actually used in GenQ before it even aired (“no, *you* need space”). Keep up the good work and looking forward to more!

    18. Ahhhh oh my god. I hope she can tell Tina and Alice tells Tina Bette was going to her I hope she understands that Bette wouldn’t do that with Emma. But ahhhh I can’t wait for the next chapter. Oh I really hope you will continue this fic but I hope Tina will understand that it was the mask change that threw her off and they can finally finally just be together. Ahhh I can’t not have this story unfinished please continue
