    Tina laughed as she placed the last lemon wedge just before a waitress came to carry the tray away, “Yeah well don’t get too caught up in the single life, Casanova. It can get lonely” Al wiggled his bushy eyebrows, the salt and pepper shade matching his beard. “That’s why I have you” Tina chuckled

    Tina chuckled as she shook her head at one of her most loyal customers. Al was a much older, overly flirtatious albeit perfectly harmless man. He reminded Tina of an old puppy dog and she truly cared for him despite his womanizing ways.

    “Hey Tina” A customer called out from the other end of the bar, “Can I get two Coors Lights?”

    Tina nodded immediately set to her task but not before pointing a warning finger at Al, “Behave”

    Al held his hands up in a show of innocence, a smile stretching across his scruffy face when Tina slid him a glass of ice cold beer.

    “On the house” She winked as she poured another pair of glasses for her customer at the end of the bar.

    Her phone chimed again as she handed off the two glasses, reminding her that she never gotten the chance to read the first message she had received. Thankfully she was all caught up with her orders that she was able to take a minute to herself. She wiped her hands on a nearby dishrag and turned to the cash register to grab her phone just as it chimed once more.

    “Speaking of Casanova” Al said from behind her.

    She ignored the comment but smirked to herself before breaking into a full blown smile when she saw who the messages were from: Bette.

    Thinking about you. I miss you.

    I know we agreed we wouldn’t say things like that or see each other until after I come back from New York but I can’t help it.

    My flight’s tomorrow. Can I see you tonight?

    Tina’s fingers hovered over the keypad as bit her lip and contemplated what to say. She wanted to resist, to stick with the plan both she and Bette had agreed on but it was easier said than done. Tina had been missing Bette too and just the thought of kissing the brunette again sent a shiver down her spine.

    3. Nothing ever seems to turn out the way Bette and Tina plan. There is always an obsticale to over come. It makes for a good story. Keep going, this is a good story.

      • You know Bette had it all planned out go home dump Em then get back to Tina.. oh and not to mention she wanted to see Tina that evening…fuck that she will be caught off guard and fuck it all up between Emma and Tina.. she is going to be put through the ringer… because Emma already knows something is up…and as soon as she sees Bette near Tina.. she will know what that something is…Poor Bette..

    7. Oh shit indeed!!!

      Wtf is Emma doing in town, is she a stalker now?! That will be a weird meeting when Emma realize that she met her competition to Bette’s heart and Bette is on her way to the bar…. Drama is coming!

      But Emma must know she will never have Bette’s heart and she should walk away in grace and don’t try to fight a lost cause. And Bette should tell Emma asap that she ends their relationship and send her away to NY!

      Thumbs up for Bette that she finally stood up to Melvin, well done!!!

      Tasha and Alice are a very funny pair together, the way Alice act and react to the teasing Tasha, so cool to see!

      OMG, as everybody pointed before me, shit is about to hit the fan; and I want to see, rather read that.

      What the hell is Emma doing there, Bette told her to wait and no to come, well, now a bloodbath is about to happen.

      I hope Bette won’t chicken out and say nothing to Emma.
