    Tina’s heart squeezed at the sound of her favorite brunette’s name, the bittersweet moment of the last time she spent in Bette’s presence clear in her mind. Tina thought about the earth shattering kiss they shared and the fact that Bette was probably packing her things to head back to New York and break things

    Tina’s heart squeezed at the sound of her favorite brunette’s name, the bittersweet moment of the last time she spent in Bette’s presence clear in her mind. Tina thought about the earth shattering kiss they shared and the fact that Bette was probably packing her things to head back to New York and break things off with Emma as a result.

    “It’s complicated” Tina responded with a smirk as she sighed and took a swig of Alice’s beer.

    Tina let out a heavy sigh as she placed six very full shot glasses beside three full glasses of beer on a round plastic tray. She nodded to a waitress already heading her way.

    “Table six”

    Tina immediately went back to work and prepared another round of drinks as fast as she could. Normally, there were two bartenders on duty each night which was a blessing when things were as busy as they currently were but unfortunately for Tina, the other bartender had called in sick.

    As skilled as Tina was, she was breezing through the drink orders but that didn’t mean she wasn’t feeling the pressure of it all.

    She ignored her phone’s text message ping as she placed another round of drinks on an empty tray and took the order of a patron sitting at the bar. She listened intently to the simple but long order as she poured beer into a glass, nodding her head in understanding. She slid the full glass along the bar to a regular customer a few feet away and winked when he raised it in thanks.

    “.. so I told her that I couldn’t be tied down and ended it right there. It sucked but it had to be done”

    “I’m sure it did” Tina smirked as she placed a round of shot glasses all filled with blue liquid on her another tray. She spared a quick glance up at Al, a regular at the bar and royal pain in her butt, before focusing back on the shot glasses. She placed a small lemon wedge on the rim of each glass, “She really liked you, you know. I thought you two looked very cute together”

    Al shrugged as he rubbed his short salt and pepper beard as if in thought, “What can I say? I’m not a one woman man, you know?”

    3. Nothing ever seems to turn out the way Bette and Tina plan. There is always an obsticale to over come. It makes for a good story. Keep going, this is a good story.

      • You know Bette had it all planned out go home dump Em then get back to Tina.. oh and not to mention she wanted to see Tina that evening…fuck that she will be caught off guard and fuck it all up between Emma and Tina.. she is going to be put through the ringer… because Emma already knows something is up…and as soon as she sees Bette near Tina.. she will know what that something is…Poor Bette..

    7. Oh shit indeed!!!

      Wtf is Emma doing in town, is she a stalker now?! That will be a weird meeting when Emma realize that she met her competition to Bette’s heart and Bette is on her way to the bar…. Drama is coming!

      But Emma must know she will never have Bette’s heart and she should walk away in grace and don’t try to fight a lost cause. And Bette should tell Emma asap that she ends their relationship and send her away to NY!

      Thumbs up for Bette that she finally stood up to Melvin, well done!!!

      Tasha and Alice are a very funny pair together, the way Alice act and react to the teasing Tasha, so cool to see!

      OMG, as everybody pointed before me, shit is about to hit the fan; and I want to see, rather read that.

      What the hell is Emma doing there, Bette told her to wait and no to come, well, now a bloodbath is about to happen.

      I hope Bette won’t chicken out and say nothing to Emma.
