    “Yeah” Tasha chuckled softly as she adjusted herself more comfortably on the bar stool she currently occupied, “My dad said that there were certain life skills I could early learn from that kind of school. Guess he wanted to make an honest woman out of me” Alice rolled her eyes and scoffed as she leaned

    Alice rolled her eyes and scoffed as she leaned forward to rest her elbow on the bar, placing her chin in her upraised palm. “Looks like he failed”

    Tasha smirked at the blonde beside her even as she ignored the comment. It had been years since she last laid eyes on Alice and though it hadn’t been Tasha’s intention to resume their acquaintance on such rough footing, the brunette would be lying if she said she didn’t miss the banter. Alice and only Alice had been the only one to ever really interest Tasha, her blunt comments and quick remarks made her entertaining to say the least.

    “So what happened after?” Tina asked after only a beat of silence as she proceeded to rinse a pair of drinking glasses, “Did you go off to save the world or something?”

    “Um, something like that yeah” Tasha chuckled once more with a nod of her head. She smacked her lips together as her mind traveled to old memories, “Joined the Marines right out of high school and did a couple tours overseas, helped build a school over there. I started to miss home though so I decided to come back and see if there’s anything for me here. I was actually on my way to the Sheriff’s office to see if there were any positions available when I ran into Alice”

    Throughout Tasha’s story, Alice had been completely focused on the brunette at her side. As immature and annoying as Tasha could make herself seem, Alice couldn’t help but see a deeper side to the brunette. The last nine or so years of Tasha’s life had been nothing like what Alice would have imagined and she was both awed and intrigued with her current bar mate.

    “Wait” She turned her head still resting in her hand to better gaze at the brunette at her side, “I didn’t know you were a Marine”

    “Yup” Tasha said as she sucked in air through her teeth. She smiled proudly at her accomplishments, her eyes twinkling with mischief when she noticed the interest on the blonde’s features. It was hard for her to take the matter seriously as much as she wanted to, her constant need to keep Alice riled up taking place over everything else. “Why? You still have a thing for women in uniform Pieszecki?”

    3. Nothing ever seems to turn out the way Bette and Tina plan. There is always an obsticale to over come. It makes for a good story. Keep going, this is a good story.

      • You know Bette had it all planned out go home dump Em then get back to Tina.. oh and not to mention she wanted to see Tina that evening…fuck that she will be caught off guard and fuck it all up between Emma and Tina.. she is going to be put through the ringer… because Emma already knows something is up…and as soon as she sees Bette near Tina.. she will know what that something is…Poor Bette..

    7. Oh shit indeed!!!

      Wtf is Emma doing in town, is she a stalker now?! That will be a weird meeting when Emma realize that she met her competition to Bette’s heart and Bette is on her way to the bar…. Drama is coming!

      But Emma must know she will never have Bette’s heart and she should walk away in grace and don’t try to fight a lost cause. And Bette should tell Emma asap that she ends their relationship and send her away to NY!

      Thumbs up for Bette that she finally stood up to Melvin, well done!!!

      Tasha and Alice are a very funny pair together, the way Alice act and react to the teasing Tasha, so cool to see!

      OMG, as everybody pointed before me, shit is about to hit the fan; and I want to see, rather read that.

      What the hell is Emma doing there, Bette told her to wait and no to come, well, now a bloodbath is about to happen.

      I hope Bette won’t chicken out and say nothing to Emma.
