“I’ll hold you to that… now you go and entertain your fine guests and… I guess we could talk tomorrow?” Tina asked trying to divert the conversation to safer topics or otherwise she wouldn’t be able to restrain herself from showing up at the brunette’s door and demand some entertaining for herself.

“I’ll call you tomorrow, after I bury my guests” Bette said trying to sound convincing about that last part of her phrase and almost failing at it, since this blonde had the power to mesmerize her to an extension she never thought possible.

“You have a good night, and don’t do anything that would get you 20 to life” Tina said and Bette released a big laugh at that moment, one that completely melted Tina and made her smile even more if it was at all possible. She loved hearing the brunette laugh, it was contagious and the best part of it was that apparently she couldn’t get enough of it.

“I cannot make that promise, I’ll just try to get away with it. You too have a good night”

“Bye” Tina said and finally gathered the strength to disconnect the call, since she really didn’t want to stop listening to such a magnificent voice.

“You’re gonna be the end of me” Bette said to no one as she tried to collect herself in order to go back into her living room.

After a couple of minutes Bette emerged from her kitchen back into her living room. She walked confidently towards where her friends were sitting down and she just stood there, simply staring at them.

Helena was the first one to notice her brunette friend emerging from her kitchen and making her way towards them. Immediately she elbowed Alice, who was forced to stare into the direction the blue eyed brunette was.

“Oh bugger” Helena said as she saw the brunette’s facial expression.

“You are in so much trouble” Bette finally said as she sat back and sipped her wine.

“Oh come on! Where oh where is your sense of humor?” Alice intervened this time, clearly trying to lighten the mood.

Bette just stared at her with her famous serial killer facial expression.

“I swear you scare the shit out of me when you do that… stop! Don’t do that!” As Alice was saying those last few words Bette only kept on increasing her stare on the blonde.

“Now really, are you seriously mad at us? I mean come on, it was just a little joke darling” The blue eyed brunette tried this time.

“I am mad to a certain extent” The chef said as solemnly as possible, for she knew she couldn’t stay mad at them for long.

“Of course you can’t, you love us” Alice confidently added.

“Deep, like really super deep… inside a cave in the deepest part of the freaking ocean you might find my love for you two”

“Whatever… now out with it, how was the little time off you took?” Helena tried to inquire quickly, before the conversation would turn into an endless competition of metaphors between the chef and the blonde.

“Oh wouldn’t you like to know” Bette said smugly for she knew that now she had the upper hand.

Is payback time bitches… Bette thought as she smiled smugly.

“Oh come the fuck on Bette!” Alice said already getting exasperated knowing that this was only the beginning.

“Nice one Al, subtle as ever” Helena quickly added.
