Pieces of Time, Chapter V
“Nope, my passion is my art.” I smile.
“I would love to see your gallery.”
…
“This is Danielle guys.” I say looking between Danielle and the kids.
“Hello.” Cole says with a cute smile.
“Hi little one, it is very nice to finally meet you guys.” Danielle says with a smile. “You must be Angelica, you’re a very pretty young lady.”
“Thanks.” Angelica says with half a smile.
“Cole, how about you go play for a little more before bedtime?”
“So your mom has told me you have won an art scholarship, you entered a contest and won first place.”
“Yeah.” Angie says with a single nod looking at her mother.
“I know this is all new Angelica, but I really do hope you’ll give me a chance.”
Angelica takes one last look at her mother and spins around as she makes her way up the stairs.
“I’m-I’m sorry.” I apologize. “I should have known this was going to happen.”
“This is all new to her, so don’t worry. She will get use to it, it’ll just take her sometime.” Danielle says. “But for now.” She steps closer towards me and wraps her arm around my waist. “Let me say, hello” She moves closer and places her lips on mine.
I pull away and smile.
“I hope Angie comes around to you.”
“She will.” She says looking into my eyes. “But like I said, it will take time.”
“Coffee?” I ask.
“Sounds like a plan.”
….
“Wow, the art here is amazing.” Rachel says to me as her eyes glance everywhere in her surroundings. “So many famous artists.”
“Yeah, we have a wide variety of artists amazing work here. We sell most but we have bought many to make the gallery stand out.”
I watch Rachel walk down the long hall of Michelangelo Buonarroti to Alphonse Mucha paintings, admiring some and smiling at most.
“This is my first time in a gallery.” She says looking back at me.
“Really? Your first time.” I ask. “You seem like you enjoy art.”
“I do enjoy art, but I just had no one to go to an art gallery with.”
“I’m glad you enjoy it.”
“This has been a great night, Bette.” She says smiling at me.
“It has.” I smile back.

Thanks for the update!
And thanks for the backflash. It was a mutual and wise decision they took, there should be love and laughter in the house, not the fighting all the time. But my Tibette heart is still sad.
I don’t understand why they decided that Tina stayed at home and stopped working. That didn’t work out the first time around when they tried for a baby.
They will always be their only true loves and Rachel and Danielle seems nice, but you promised that you are a Tibetter so i will sit out the ride back to each other.
5 stars from me!

Ok I’m all caught up now ready for the next chapter…I have a feeling they are going to slip if they where left alone in the right moment. Yes they fault before but Tina is back to work and Bette seems to have lots more time to Date take care of kids and money because now she is renting an apartment. so many things have changed since they split. thank you love the story,
