Pieces of Time, Chapter V
“I thought it was the right time.”
“Well you should have approached it better, maybe even could have told me ahead of time.”
“How do you even know about th-“ Tina stops. “Did Angelica call you?”
“No.” I say. “But she called Kit.”
“What did she say to Kit?”
“She told Kit, she is never going to like Danielle. And she wants us to get back together.” I sigh.
“I should have known that she would call someone.” Tina says shaking her head.
“I hate seeing her like this.” I say placing my hands on my hips and looking at Tina.
“Does she really believe we are going to be getting back together?” Tina asks with a gentle voice.
“She must.” I say. “I’ve been noticing the past few days she hasn’t been the Angelica I know.”
“It still kills me thinking about the day that we had to tell her.”
“It kills me just putting her through this, Tina.”
“But you knew we weren’t creating a happy home.”
—-
“Here we go again.” My voice raises slightly. “Our sixth fight this week.”
“Don’t blame me.”
“So what is it?” I ask. “Is it that I’ve been working late again?”
“I never expected you to pretty much abandon us, Bette.”
“Abandon..” I run my hands through my hair. “I have never abandon you. I have never abandoned our kids. I have done nothing but work my ass off.”
“You have no time for us Bette.”
“It was your idea for me to take on extra work so I could get the deal I’ve been aiming for. So I could make more money and support us better.” I look at the ground. “You’re blaming me for something that you wanted.”
“Well if I knew you were going to be so wrapped up into it, I wouldn’t have agreed to it.”
“I’ve done nothing but work harder so we can afford everything we have, since you quit your job.” I say. “We agreed that you being a stay at home mother would be best for the kids because they hated being taken care of by the nanny. And Kit couldn’t do it anymore.”
“So is this all being blamed on me?”
“No, T.” I speak. “No.”
I watch her bury her face into her hands and hold them there.

Thanks for the update!
And thanks for the backflash. It was a mutual and wise decision they took, there should be love and laughter in the house, not the fighting all the time. But my Tibette heart is still sad.
I don’t understand why they decided that Tina stayed at home and stopped working. That didn’t work out the first time around when they tried for a baby.
They will always be their only true loves and Rachel and Danielle seems nice, but you promised that you are a Tibetter so i will sit out the ride back to each other.
5 stars from me!

Ok I’m all caught up now ready for the next chapter…I have a feeling they are going to slip if they where left alone in the right moment. Yes they fault before but Tina is back to work and Bette seems to have lots more time to Date take care of kids and money because now she is renting an apartment. so many things have changed since they split. thank you love the story,
