“Did you finish packing the bags in the car?” I ask her as she steps towards me to grab the cup of coffee I just made.

“Yes, Angelica is certainly taking enough for an army.”

“She’s a teenager.”

“Why did I even question it.” She chuckles. “I think this is going to be a great trip for us.” Danielle says with a smile.

“Yeah, I agree.” I smile back. “I’m just glad the kids have a babysitter.”

“Alone time.” Danielle winks.

I smile back with a chuckle. “Alone time with kids is never alone time.” I say. “Just simply doesn’t happen.”

She chuckles back at me. “We’ll try our hardest.”

“When are we leaving mom?” Angelica asks walking towards me with her empty plate.

“Whenever you guys finish breakfast and we get everything loaded into the car!”

“Is Mama B gonna be on the plane with us?” Cole asks.

“Yes she will be baby, we’re all meeting at the Planet before we take off! We are going to leave our vehicle at Auntie Kit’s cafe’ and take Auntie Helena’s limo to the airport!”

“A limo?” Angelica says with excitement.

“Yes, a limo.” I nod.

“This is going to be the best trip ever.” Angelica says before planting her face in her phone again.

“I sure hope so.” I say.

“Do we have all bodies present?” Alice says shouting as she stands onto a chair that she pulls from a table.

I watch as she starts to point and count heads.

“Where is Porter?” She says sighing.

“Mama B is being slow Mama T!” Cole says tugging at my shirt.

“It won’t be long until she walks through that door, sweetie?”

“I’ll give her a call.” Kit says stepping away.

I notice Danielle chatting with Shane.

“I’m going to go see Auntie Shane, I’ll be back ok?” I say looking between Cole and Angelica.

I make my way towards them.

“Hey, TK.”

“Hey, whatcha guys talking about?”

“Danielle asked me about Allison.” Shane says.

“We still haven’t met her yet, Shane.” I say pouting.

“You will, you will. Don’t worry.” She says. “I’ll be sure to introduce you guys when we get back.”

“Good, you better.”

“I also told Shane about the job offer in San Diego.”
