    “Well, have fun baby girl.”

    “Thanks.” Rachel says.

    I swing my legs around the bed and turn to see Kit shutting the door.

    “Hey.”

    “Good morning baby sis.”

    “What’s up?” I ask standing to my feet.

    “I figured you would be at breakfast with everyone.”

    “Yeah, I was very tired, decided I’d catch up on some sleep.”

    “Tina told me to let you know Peggy has the kids.”

    “Thanks.”

    “Speaking of Tina. Have you guys had the talk?”

    “We have been talking and we’ve decided, when this trip is over we are going to come clean to everyone. The kids, Rachel, everyone.”

    “I hope you are making the right decision baby girl.”

    “You should already know that answer Kit.” I say picking up the loose clothes scattered on the floor.

    “What do you think Tina is going to do about Danielle?”

    “Tina wants nothing to do with her.”

    “Are you sure about that baby sis?”

    “What are you implying Kit?”

    “I just want you two to be sure this time.”

    …

    I make my way outside and in search of Danielle. I didn’t want to see her but I want to clear a few things through with her.

    I take my way to the beach and remove my sandals before stepping onto the sand.

    I carry my sandals in my hands as I stroll close to the water. My head searches for her but I come up empty. I pull my phone from my pocket and dial her number.

    “Tina?” She answers.

    “Can we talk? I’m by the ocean waiting.”

    “Yeah, of course. I’ll see you there.”

    I hang up and take a seat in the sand.

    Minute later I hear her voice calling my name.

    I stand and turn towards her.

    “So what is it you wanted to see me about?” She asks.

    “Why are you still here?” I ask.

    “I desperately want you to forgive me, Tina.”

    “You heard me last night. You know how I feel.”

    “But feelings change.”

    “Yeah and my feelings for you have changed.”

    “I left because I noticed how rude I was being towards you here. I didn’t want to put you through that, not on your friends trip.”

    “It was easy to fix your rudeness, Danielle.” I plead.

      Just read the the chapter. How stupid is Danielle to expect Tina to forgive her after the way she treated her.?! She fucked up big time and she needs to go…

      Rachel, what can i say? She overheard a conversation and decide that Bette must be hurt by sleeping with Shane. They were both wrong to do that and saying it was under influence of drugs and alcohol, no excuse.

      But Bette is wrong too to sleep with Tina before breaking up with Rachel, but i am a diehard Tibette fan and happy they will try to fix their relationship.

      Looking forward to the next chapter!!!

    8. I think this story was very good. Nice introduction of new characters Danielle and Rachel. Danielle even though in her late thirties seems to be a bit immature or really a narcisitic personality. If she had been smart, she would have sat down with Tina and given her a complete picture of the job process would be and the time frame expected. If she was going to have to be on the phone for business purposes, then she should have explained that to Tina in terms of why, how often, how much time would be involved. Who wants to be on vacation with a lover who is using the phone frequently and trying to hide that use after they have indicated that they would not use the phone. Of course it was easily predictable that Danielle would not stay in Tina’s bed for long. I enjoyed the story…
