    I had noticed her talk with Shane to be somewhat heated.

    I begin to search the crowd for Shane and notice her talking with Kit.

    ”Rachel I’m going to go talk to Shane. Mind if I do that?”

    ”Of-of course not.”

    ”I’ll be right back.” I say as I make my way over to Shane and Kit.

    Once I approach I smile at them both.

    ”Kit, mind if I burrow Shane for a second?”

    ”Go right ahead baby sis.”

    ”Hey Bette, what’s up?” Shane says stepping to the side with me.

    ”I noticed you’ve been talking with Tina.”

    ”Listen keep in eye on her.”

    ”What? Why?”

    ”Look, I’m not suppose to tell you but I can’t. I know how much you still care for her.”

    ”What happened?”

    ”Can you promise to not tell her right away, at least not tonight or at least not here?”

    ”Yes.”

    ”You promise?”

    ”I promise Shane.”

    Shane sighs before opening her mouth again. ”Danielle left the resort.”

    ”She did what!?” The anger builds inside me.

    ”Tina went back to her room after dinner and she had left a letter saying ”I’m sorry”.”

    ”How could she do that?”

    ”I only decided to tell you because I’m worried about her. I watched her chug down 2 cups of pure vodka in front of me.”

    I look over at Tina and notice her downing more liquid.

    ”I’ve been keeping my eye on her and I’m glad she is sat with Helena.” Shane says.

    ”I’ll let you carry on with your night, Rachel is waiting for me. Thank you so much telling me Shane.”

    ”Anything for you Bette.”

    I make my way back to Rachel.

    ”Is everything ok?”

    ”Yeah. Everything is fine.”

    ”I’m going to go use the ladies room.”

    ”Sure, go right ahead.”

    I continuously glance at Tina on and off until I notice her beginning to stand with a wobble.

    I make my way towards her as she walks closer towards the building entrance.

    ”You never came back.” I say stopping her.

    She turns to look at me. ”Oh right, yes. I’m sorry.” She says turning to leave again.

    ”Wait.”

    She turns on one foot again.

    ”Are you alright?”

    4. Great update. Rachel needs to come clean with Bette and Shane needs to put a zipper on it and stay to herself. This info will not bother Bette too much because her feelings are for Tina, not Rachel. Tina needs to stop running away from Bette and let herself feel. She knows she still loves Bette and they need to sit still and talk about their feelings. Great chapter. Thanks for posting.
