Pieces of Time – Chapter XVII

We watch as Tasha then steps towards her and helps her down from the chair.
”Alice..” Tasha begins and the crowd goes silent.
”What is it Tasha?” Alice asks smiling.
”You have been the best thing that has happened to me in a long time.
Everyday spent with you is filled with so much love and laughter that I can’t imagine a life without you. You have truly stolen my heart and for that reason, I want you to officially own it.”
Tasha then takes Alice’s hand and begins to knell down on her right knee. ”Will you please do me the honours of becoming my wife?”
She then digs into her pocket and opens the ring box to relieve the diamond ring.
Alice’s reaction is to bring her hands to her mouth to hold them in pure shock.
”Of course I’ll marry you.” Alice says once she removes her hands.
Tasha slips the ring onto her finger and they hold each other in happiness.
As they do this the fireworks begin to start.
I begin to clap with the crowd and I smile.
I glance at Tina quickly and again catch her eyes.
”This couldn’t have been any better.” Kit says with excitement.
”I know, that was perfect.” Tina says.
”Her facial expression was nothing but pure love.” I say.
”And shock.” Kit adds.
Everyone starts to walk towards them with congratulations and I follow behind everyone.
”I’m so happy for you both.” I say. ”I knew you would react the way you did.”
”Bette you knew?!”
”Everyone did hun.” Tina says stepping from behind me.
”No way.” She says smiling and looking at Tasha.
”I needed a little bit of help, that was all.” Tasha says pulling Alice closer to her.
Kit and Rachel then approach with congratulations.
”Girl we should celebrate by a nice spa day tomorrow! You and Tasha, Helena, Rachel, Tina, Bette, me everyone girl.”
”That sounds like a great plan.”
”You can count me out.” I say. ”I wanna spend some time with the kids.”
”Bette is right, we have just pawned them off too much.” Tina laughs.
”You don’t mind do you?” I say looking at Rachel.
”The kids come first, so of course I don’t mind.” She smiles.

Rachel cheated as first, and we already knew she wouldn’t last.

Yes I did! Lots of things have changed actually, been shy and scared to announce this but i feel like it has never changed the way I feel about my Tibette writing! I’m transgender, I’ve been scared because I wasn’t sure if this website was just for lesbians? So it scared me because I love writing and didn’t want to get judged? Can’t really find the words. But I hope whoever sees this doesn’t mind that I’m still here? ..*covering eyes with hands* lol. It is the reason I’ve been so behind on writing and life. I hate to have fallen out of my writing but I’m coming back! Hopefully nothing else tends to slow me down from writing!!
