“I never expected for it to all come out at once.” I speak.
“Neither did I.”
“I guess our last step is the kids.”
“Yeah, it seems to be that way.”
“I want to wait until we get back though.” I plead.
“Me too.” She agrees with me.
“I love you, T.”
“And I love you, forever and always.” I feel her gently take a piece of my hair and curl it between her fingers.
“Shane wants to talk to me today.”
“Are you truly mad with her?”
“No.” I confess. “I was just upset at first.”
“She- she told me last night that Rachel has feelings for her.”
“Yeah, Rachel told me how she felt towards Shane.”
“How do you feel about that?”
“I just wanted you. It didn’t matter who I was with. No one every came close to being you, I can’t get here and be mad at them because I was hurting Rachel.”
“So are you saying you’d be fine if they started dating?”
“Me and Rachel talked about ending it on good terms. She didn’t want us to resent each other.”
“I wish I could say the same about Danielle.”
“Yeah, I can’t believe she just decided to blurt that out last night.”
“She told me-“
I cut her off. “You talked to her afterwards?”
“Yeah, I went to find her while you were talking with Rachel. I wanted to tell her how I felt. But Bette, she told me she wanted to give you a piece of your own medicine because she felt you hated her from day one.”
“I wasn’t the biggest fan of her. She did try to take you and my children to another city with her.”
“She said since she had no chance with anymore that she had nothing to lose.”
I roll my eyes.
“Can you promise me something?” I ask Tina.
“What’s that?”
“If we ever fight and we feel like we should separate, that we lock each other into a room until we solve it?” I hold out my pinky finger.
I see her laugh and look at me.
“Ok. I promise.” She locks her little finger with mine and we shake on it.
“I should go meet Shane.” I say sitting up and swinging my feet from the sheets.

Oh thank you for coming back and finishing this one.. I liked it from the start and waited patiently for you to come back and finish it. And im glad they all remained friends well except for Danielle.. but in a way she did them all a favor. Lol.. thank you again.
