“Oh God. Not me. There’s nothing worse than tentative, timid lesbian sex.” To this statement, Tina rolled her eyes.
“Right.”
“I would never be in one of those lesbian bed death relationships where you just cuddle, and you know, say goodnight and go to sleep. Ugh. I have a teddy bear if I wanna do that.”
“Yes!” Tina recognized Shane’s voice off camera and guessed that she was probably giving two thumbs up to Jodi for that explanation.
“I was watching, does, was that lesbian, is that lesbian?” Alice made a motion with her hand as her two fingers entered the round space between her thumb and forefinger. Tina watched as Jodi corrected her sign by separating her thumb and forefinger and placing them just below her mouth against her chin. “Lesbian? Oh lesbian. That? That is not sexy. That’s not sexy. That?”
“Is that more sexy?” Jodi asked as she rubbed the outside of her thumb and forefinger on both hands together in a circle. Tina mimics this gesture then stops herself and shakes her hands out as if she’s trying to fling away her newfound signing knowledge.
“This is better!” Alice exclaims. “Much sexier. Um, how do you say cunnilingus? I made one up; is that cunnilingus?” Alice asks as she uses the tip of her forefinger to gently rub the webbing between the fore and middle fingers of her other hand. “Or, it would be good.”
“Pretty good, pretty close. Or I guess you could just say ‘lick my pussy.’”
“Well, you could say that couldn’t you?”
“Got to remember that.” Tina heard Shane once again off camera.
“No, you swore off sex, remember?” Tina laughed when she heard an off-camera Kit remind their friend of her self-imposed celibacy that had already gone awry after only a week. “Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, I did. I did. I have a question. How do you say fuck?”
“Well, you know, fuck you, obviously.” Jodi threw up her middle finger to Shane.
“Oh, that one I certainly know.” Tina said as she flipped off Jodi’s image on the screen before continuing to apply lotion to her bronzed legs.
“No, not fuck. Fuck! You know?” Shane insisted from the background.
“But this is, you know, to actually fuck.” Jodi had both of her hands in the form of peace signs lying horizontally and clapping them on top of each other. “Or you do that if you wanna say fuck me baby.” She bent both arms and pulled them towards her in a thrusting manner.

Very nice story; it has been a very long time since I read a new post of the events in TLW, thanks for bringing it back, I wish you would write more frequently. Is there any possibility for you to continue ‘Playing By Heart’? that is also a great story, pity that it is unfinished. Thank you si much for posting I really enjoyed this one.

Great story! It is great to read about Tina’s thoughts and how she came to the conclusions that Bette is not in love with Jodi and how they still fail at communication.
And most important that she decided to go after Bette.
Like the others i would like to see a update from “Playing by Heart ”

Happy to read this post and as others have said, would really like to see more of “Playing by Heart” thank you. Hope they will start talking to each other more and not “at” one another. And if Bette would just admit to herseld how she really feels about Tina then the rest will fall into place as it should. Thanks for the post.
Hey ladies! Rather than reply to each of your comments, I figured I would just leave a general comment thanking you all for reading this one and for your resounding encouragement to finish Playing By Heart.
Would you be mad if I told you I have three more chapters written and they have been waiting in the vault until I was done with the entire story? Yes, I have been holding out on you, but I have been updating and revising the original story to reflect up-to-date technology and fix some grammatical and mechanical errors. It’s taken me over a year to do this, like I said in my author’s note above, writing and proofing is difficult with three jobs to keep me busy and very little time for a social life (let alone a love life, but that’s not important right now).
I’m taking a page from some of the other older writers and am going to re-post the entire story in one book that way you can easily find it all in one place.
I appreciate all the encouragement and the demand is overwhelming. I’m very touched that the story means so much to you. Although there is a bit of pressure to make sure it’s a worthwhile ending. Hopefully it won’t disappoint.

At least, we all know that Tina will be able to break this curse and get her beloved Bette again.
