    “I’m sorry Bette, but come on. You have to admit, you’ve let it go a little too far.”

    “I know and I said I’ll take care of it.”

    “Great! Well, I’m gonna go. I think you need some more time to figure this out. I’ll call you tomorrow to check on you. Do you need anything?” “

    No, I think maybe I’ll go for a swim and just sit outside for a while. Maybe some of that California sunshine will do me some good. I’ll make myself a sandwich too. I do feel a little better just talking about it, so maybe I can sleep tonight.”

    “Ok, well, I’ll talk to you later. Good luck.”

    “Thanks Al.”

    I can’t believe that was it! It must be worse than I thought if Alice Pieszecki, the mouth of WeHo, doesn’t press the issue. Ok, I should definitely shower.

    She leaves and I wander into the kitchen to make that sandwich. I haven’t been able to keep anything down in days, so this will be a light meal to test the waters. I made my sandwich and went into the bedroom to put on a swimsuit then took the food out back to sit by the pool. After eating and letting my body have some time to digest, I started to feel a little stronger and decided a swim would feel good to my tired and aching muscles. No laps today, just a nice soak. After about 30 minutes in the pool, I think I’m ready for that much needed shower, so I make my way back into the house. After my shower I took some time to clean up the house a bit as I have neglected it all week. Then, I sat on the couch with my laptop to see if I could get a little work done regarding my upcoming show. I decided a little background music might be nice while I’m working so I turned on the radio to my favorite local rock station. They play a lot of Aerosmith, so I tend to keep the tuner locked in there.
