Old Westbury, Long Island, Saturday, 2:30 pm
It has been almost one week that Dr. Edith Foxworthy, is seeing Dana, she quickly was aware of the situation in the house, and felt sorry for the young tennis player; she was scandalized when she knew the treatment Dana has been subjected of and wanted to help the girl and Sharon and of course she won the trust of them both, it broke her heart hearing Dana and Sharon conversation.
Dana: “mom…, mom… get me out… here…, please mom…, please”
Sharon: “yes, baby we’ll take you out as soon as we can”
Dr. Edith Foxworthy: “you don’t want to see your dad, right?”
Dana: “nooo…, dad bad…, no dad…, mom… uh, mom…uh”
Sharon: (talking to Dr. Foxworthy) “is she in pain? She always says the same, uh”
Dr. Edith Foxworthy: (talking to Dana) “okay Dana…, what is “uh”, slowly, repeat slowly…”
Dana: “uhll…”
Dr. Edith Foxworthy: “hmm, is it a name?”
Dana: (nodding) “uhll”
Dr. Edith Foxworthy: “Mrs. Fairbanks, do you know someone called Al?”
Sharon: “oh my God…, she remembers… Al is Alice, her wife…, is she asking to see her?”
Dr. Edith Foxworthy: “Dana do you want to see Alice?”
Dana: (crying) “uhll…, love uhll”
Dr. Foxworthy knew the situation was hard, this wasn’t only a medical case, this was a crime. She has run some test on the athlete and has taken notes of the previous ‘corrective treatment’ in the clinic in Manhattan and secretly she has discussed it with her brother Dan, who based on his experience with the scientists in the consultant team, has suggested some biochemical tests, and of course has alerted Louise about it.
By this morning the laboratory results have come back and now Edith has her diagnosis and something else, Dana has suffered some neurologic damage, though hard to treat, it’s reversible, but the bad news is the genetic alteration that has caused the apparition of a kind of breast cancer, in it’s very beginning, but menacing to expand, and that is what she is discussing with Mr. and Mrs. Fairbanks.
Dr. Edith Foxworthy: “apparently the treatment she was subject of, has produced some genetic alterations, it is a little hard to explain, because is not that she or rather all her genes have mutated, but certain genetic activity has changed on her, producing an effect in her organism and some cells in her breast have developed in an abnormal way, proliferating at high speed becoming a carcinoma”

Yup, you’re totally right, I was thinking to write more of the wedding, too, I even have partially written the wedding vows, but it was going to be too long and I needed to reach the scene of Tasha and Alice; besides sometimes I put much attention to some general comments and PMs, and I didn’t want to have a rating R or 17, this time.
But “the night is young” and who knows what will happen in the next chapters that will have the wedding night in the beginning.
For my next wedding (I mean TIBETTE’s wedding) I’ll write more in detail.

My lovely wife allowed me to read your update!
I am so glad Bette &Tina are married and that Tina’s mom was there. But i am still a little worried how Tina is going to react when she finds out Bette was in contact with Louise. She will be pissed of.
Alice & Tasha, hmm, i loved them together in the L Word. But i think Tasha gets her heart broken when Alice &Dana will be reunited.
Mr. Kennard get what he deserve and i hope this will be only the beginning.
