Bette: “okay, you let me know it”

Louise: “how is she?”

Bette: “I think Tina is fine…, we aren’t sleeping together anymore”

Louise: “why…?”

Bette: “she doubt me…, she was asking about the phone calls you and me had…, she thinks I’m with some else”

Louise: “I don’t understand very well your relationship; I thought you were still exes of each other”

Bette: “yes…, we’re still only friends…, but nevertheless…, we have a special relationship”

Louise: “I want you to tell me something…, did Tina ever have a boyfriend?”

Bette: “no, never…, why?”

Louise: “but she told you sometime that she changed her preference for men”

Bette: “yes…, that time when she wanted to throw me away…, because of her uncle…, but she was lying…, she told me later…, well indeed everybody told me but I was enraged and hurt”

Louise: “what about Eric?”

Bette: “she had nothing with him”

Louise: “are you totally sure?”

Bette: “yes…, let me tell you…”

Remembering

After Tina confessed to Bette her hard experience with her uncle Don when she was 12 and was consoled by Bette; they also confessed their feelings and became girlfriends.

That evening, was the happiest for Tina in many years, and for Bette too, it was a new experience. Bette never had a stable girlfriend, most the times there were only one-nightstands or she hooked up with some girl for few days. After all, she loves science and she had a purpose, to become a scientist, so, she prefers casual relationships with girls. Nevertheless, Tina was different, Tina has the same purpose than her, and similar expectations; but there is something else, Bette is in love. She couldn’t explain that it isn’t that she wanted so badly to be with the blonde, no, she is very willing to wait until this girl was able of giving herself totally. She wants to help her girlfriend to overcome all her fears her inhibitions, she wants Tina to be herself, to be free from all those shadows from her past. But for now they want to celebrate and they went to Tina’s apartment.

The meal was delicious the video, interesting but the best was the company; the light of the room is very dim, almost off; the brunette had already changed garments, her new girlfriend had provided her with nightclothes and both are sitting in the bed reclined on the pillows, covered by the bedclothes, watching some movies; this morning she wouldn’t have believed that at night she was going to be in Tina’s bed hugging her.
