    So this is it, what you’ve been waiting for, right? Lots and lots and lots of Danish…eventually.

                Tina gave me a confused look. “With Shane? What are they doing?”

                I sighed, and leaned forward on the table like I had the biggest secret in the world and no one could hear it. “Can I tell you something, Tee?”

                “Yeah, of course.” She said, still puzzled.

                “Well, last night Alice was asking me if I thought it would be weird if she dated one of our friends. Well, it’s not you or Bette, obviously, it’s not me, Marina’s busy with Jenny, so who does that leave?”

                Her face grew an expression of horror and shock. “Shane?” I nodded. “No. No way.”

                “Then where are they? And who was Alice talking about? I’m telling you, she likes Shane.”

                “Oh my God, you’re right! That’s so… I never would have pictured them together!”

                “I know. It sucks.” I looked down at the ground, shaking my head.

                “What now?” Tina asked. “We should be happy for them, right? I mean, they’re our friends. We want them to be happy.”

                “Sure.” I said halfheartedly.

                “Alright you’re turn. What’s up.” She also leaned forward, crossing her arms on the table.

                “It’s just…” I let out a growl of frustration. “I like Alice, okay?! There, I said it. I finally said it.” I sat back I my chair as if I’d just played the most exhausting game of my life.

                Tina smiled open mouthed and pointed at me. “I knew it! I so called that like, last month!”

                “Ugh, shut up!” I groaned, burying my head in my hands. I popped back up a second later. “You can’t tell her! You can’t tell anyone!”

                She held up her hands. “Okay! Okay.”

                “Promise.” I demanded.

                “I promise.”

    Shane’s POV:

                Not two minutes after Alice had hung up on me, I got a few calls from 2 girls who wanted to ‘get together again.’ Noooo thank you! I remember those two, they were wild, but kind of freaky. Just as I grabbed my keys and got ready to head out for work, the phone rang once more. I took a look at it hanging on the wall, trying to decide weather to answer it or not.

    8. Dorky you did it! They’re finally together! :D Typically Danish to not read each other (sometimes too subtle) signs. ;) Dana was too cute with her announcement on the stage. A great ending (which screams for sa follow-up. :P)
