“We are going to have to meet him because I guess Sarah would like him to be at the wedding with her”
“Mom has been skirting around that one”
“I don’t have a problem with that as long as Niall isn’t going to kick off and as long as he is comfortable being at a lesbian wedding “
“Well
– we have two months to get those answers don’t we”
Tina came out with some more coffee and another plate of toast.
“Do you want some more Bette ?”
“No
– I might take that walk – are you hanging around Finn ?”
“That was the plan – do you want someone to go with you on this walk ?”
“No she doesn’t “ Tina said sitting down
Bette stood up and went over to Tina and kissed her on the lips “Thanks
– I will be okay and I will take my phone – where is my phone in fact ?”
“Its on our desk
– its fully charged “
Bette smiled again “Thanks babe
– see you shortie “
Finn laughed as Bette vanished into the house
“And you are letting her go out on her own ?”
“I don’t want to wrap her in cotton wool “
“I am surprised
– I thought you would be loathed to let her out of your sight “
“I am in a way but equally I know that she hates being fussed over. She is really being a good patient so I will give her some slack
– if she starts trying to do too much I will start mothering her”
Finn raised an ey
ebrow “I was just telling Bette that I was talking to Jon when I was there”
“And how is her high school sweetheart ?”
“They are happy “
“What’s he like ?”
“I took to him
– he didn’t try too hard but he was friendly and she’d obviously told him things about us. I spoke to her yesterday morning when she rang to ask if she could send the veg box to me to bring to you two. He has said that if she wants to come over to LA before the wedding he will come with her if that’s what she wants. I do think he wants to meet you and Bette – he has probably heard an awful lot about you “

Tina is so hurt what had happened to Willow…. But as she said life is too short to waste to something like that..beside she’s still her sister.

Hey AllyE, I do love the big hairy giant that Finnbar is. It was wonderful to read that Bette was on the mend and that Tina finally let out all of the worried, anxiety, and fear she had been holding on to. It was not healthly but now the gals are slowly getting back to their lives. Finn really is a big softie, challenging Jonathan over his homophobia and his intentions. Just so adorable. Bette and Finn have a real brother/sister vibe going on. It is special as Bette never had that kind of relationship growing up. Willow has really messed up and being left to get on with it. I do understand Finn’s question re an invite to the wedding. I whole heartedly agree with Tina’s decision no to invite her sister. Their day should be one of love and joy, not snide comments and loose cannons. i can’t wait to read more. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
