Just then a limo pulled up and the driver got out

“That’s us – open the rear door “ Bette instructed. The driver obeyed and stooped into the car to unlock the door. Bette opened the door, pushed Shane inside and straightened herself up

“Did you and your friends have a nice time in Las Vegas ?” Elizabeth asked Bette as they walked along the beach with the dogs. Bette had called in to see her mother and Hannah had told her that she had just set off for a walk. Bette had caught up with her after a few minutes and after receiving a overwhelming greeting from the dogs the two women had started to walk along together in the early evening sunshine.
