“What’s wrong, Tina?” Liz asked.
Tina was very distracted during their morning meeting with the crew.
“What?” Tina replied.
“What’s wrong? You look like you’re a million miles away.”
Tina stared blankly at Liz. Not really hearing her. Too busy thinking about what Bette was doing, if she was up, if she was drinking a cup of coffee, if she was reading her note.
“What’s going on?”
Tina didn’t say anything.
“Tina!” Liz said more forcefully.
“What? What’d you say?”
“What’s going on with you,” Liz repeated.
Tina wasn’t sure if she should tell Liz about Bette staying with her. She looked at Liz and saw the concern on her face.
“Sorry. I’m a little distracted.”
“A little?” Liz questioned. “You okay?”
“Yes, I’m fine. It’s just…” Tina started and stopped.
“Just what? Just what!”
“Bette’s in town.”
“Oh!” Liz tried to act surprised.
“You didn’t mention she was coming.”
“I didn’t know she was coming until she knocked on the door last night.”
“Wait…what!” Liz didn’t have to act surprised this time.
She knew KiKi had a plan but she didn’t know that plan would land Bette on Tina’s doorstep…again. Now, she wasn’t so sure if helping KiKi was a good idea.
“You heard right,” Tina said.
“Oh shit. Are you okay? Did you guys talk? Why was she at your door?”
Liz had a million more questions but she didn’t want to accidentally say anything that would give away the fact that Bette being in town wasn’t a surprise to her after all. The redhead had to play it cool.
“You’re not going to believe this and I’m not even sure if I should tell you.”
“What is it? For the love, you can’t say I’m not going to believe something and then leave me hanging. What am I not going to believe?”
Liz stared at Tina. Waiting.
“Bette is staying with me while she’s in town.”
“WHAT!” Liz screamed.
They both looked around to see if anyone was in earshot. Luckily, the crew was busy setting up for the first shot of the day. Liz instantly got a knot in the pit of her stomach.
“What? How?” Liz asked quieter.
“I don’t know how exactly. Apparently James was supposed to come to get KiKi’s art ready to ship but then he got sick and then something happened with the reservation and you know all of Vancouver is gearing up for The Balloon Festival and everything is booked and she didn’t have anywhere else to go and now she’s staying with me until…shit. I don’t even know how long she’s going to be here. We didn’t get a chance to talk last night. I could tell she was overwhelmed. And the last time we were alone together, things…got really intense. And…ugh…fuck.”

Looks like KiKi’s Valentine plan is working so far. Lordy, Lordy Tina had me “hollering bigly” when:
“Tina watched Bette close the door then she ran to the other room and called Julia back.
“Everything okay, Tina?”
Yes, I just walked in on Bette wearing nothing but a towel and it “sent me spiraling”. (bc of her prolific imagination). Tho I think I PLAYED IT PRETTY COOL . . . R U kidding me??!!! HA!!! Tina was licking her chops and vividly dreaming of bending Bette over the couch . . .chair . . . Table . . or just flat out “bending her over” tryna get to that Bette nectar!!!!

Makes me wonder what type of scenes they captured at the studio. Tina’s pump was primed to the point of drooling.
Oooh wee!! We’re gonna have a party in your next chapter Tibette 4EE. I’m just hopin Tina doesn’t hurt herself or break something we Bette gives her the okay! HeHeHe!!!
LOL!!!! I am so glad that made you “holler bigly” LOL!!! Tina is a riot especially if she thinks she played it cool. They have a long road ahead of them, but I’m optimistic. And if Bette ever finally gives Tina the green light, I hope they stretch before hand! ;-)

Bette has NOOOOO idea how aggressive Tina has become!!! Thank goodness for therapist Julia. She has got to have “cracked a rib” trying to keep from bellowing in laughter as she “counsels” Tina.
Think about some of the things she has said and Tina’s responses . . .
Great chapter. Poor Bette. She’s definitely not in Kansas anymore. She’s so clueless as to all of the plotting and manipulation taking place all around her. So is Tina. Kiki is relentless. But can she force this? Should she? She sure seems to think so. Bette is really hurting. Kiki doesn’t seem to respect that very much. All I know is that if someone did that to me I might realize that their heart was in the right place but still be pretty angry. For B and T’s relationship to truly heal and last in the long term they need to be the ones to move at their own pace and not at one dictated by someone who has decided to intervene and speed things along. I suspect it will all work out just fine (of course it will) but in the real world Kiki would have some major explaining to do. On the other hand, I have to admit to laughing out loud at perpetually horny Tina trying to control herself over Bette in the towel. Shaking my head as I type this. Tina, you’re in trouble girl. Get a grip. Love this story.
Yes, I think there will be some backlash to all of the plotting. But hopefully Bette will understand why everyone did what they did. It’ll only be okay if she ends up with Tina. Fingers crossed! I think it will be revealed why KiKi is fighting so hard for them. So much to unfold. They have a long way to go and lots of questions to be answered.
Tina misses Bette so much…all of her…especially the sex. Especially the sex. lmao

This is the one area where neither was inhibited . . . until . . .
