“Well I guess I’m going for my personal best.” Tina said flippantly causing Bette to laugh out loud.
“Is that a challenge?”
“Only if you are up for it.” Tina responded enjoying the banter.
“Be careful what you ask for.” Bette countered.
“Bring it on baby. Show me what you got.”
“Someone’s in a randy mood. I take it you missed me?”
“More than you know.” Tina answered seriously and pulled Bette into a kiss. Bette reciprocated, then pulled back to look Tina in the eye. “I’ve missed you too.” She said before they shared another kiss then just held it each other close. It didn’t take long before they were ready to go at it again.

“Give me a minute. I need to pee.” Bette said getting out of the bed and heading to the bathroom closing the door behind her. Tina rolled onto her stomach and grabbed the bottled water from the nightstand. After taking a huge gulp she replaced the cap. They’d kept the bottle within easy reach anticipating they would both need hydration throughout the night. She tucked one of the pillows scented with Bette’s perfume under her head and waited for brunette to finish in the bathroom.
Tina could hear the toilet flush and water running then being turned off but then it got very quiet. If she strained she could hear the indistinct sounds of Bette moving around the bathroom; maybe opening a cabinet door or something. After several minutes of waiting for Bette to come out Tina called out to her. “Babe is everything okay in there? You seem to be taking a long time.”
“Everything is fine sweetie. I’ll be right out.” Bette answered. She finished up what she was doing and softly closed the cabinet door. A few seconds later she turned off the overhead lights and opened the bathroom door. They had candles burning in the bedroom and the lights were dimmed so Tina could only see Bette’s silhouette walking towards her.
“What took you so long? The bed’s getting cold.” Tina pouted. She’d covered herself with the sheet to keep warm while she was waiting for Bette to get back into bed so she scooted over and started to lift it to make room when she glanced up and did a double take. Welcome back!! So William is in on the deal with Kate and Eric. It amazes me when the rich get so greedy that they risk all their fortunes for a few dollars more. Well it appears that Bette and Tina have the goods on the short egomaniacs and they are about to go down. Thanks for reuniting the lovers. Tina now realizes what love has to do with it. Hopefully she speak aloud her proposal to Bette. PPS
majicspider60 I just had to comment on your statement ‘Tina now realizes what love has to do with it.” It’s exactly what I was going for. I didn’t have Tina verbalize the proposal or much of what she was expressing in her thoughts because they have a bit of work to do towards that end, but she’s certainly made the leap to be on the same page as Bette. Sharing her values, understanding how monumental trust is to a relationship, and wanting the same things; unconditional love (not sex) being the bridge to get them there. Thank you.

Hey Bat, sorry for commenting so late on your wonderful chapter, but somehow time seems to fly at the moment. So William definitely is as it seems an active part in this theft. Wondering how long Kate is already involved in this and why she would do it. If I remember correctly Tina at one time mentioned her to be an up and coming director. Anyway I am sure you will connect all the dots for me in your next chapters. Glad to see Tina finally is on the same page as Bette so there is nothing going to come between them in the near future – and hopefully a lot longer. Looking forward to your next post.
