    Fashion show preparations, an emotional conversation and a little fun

    Bette smirked at Tina while the blonde pursed her lips in a silent request to behave though it was obvious that she was fighting a laugh herself.

    There was a snort or two from over Bette’s shoulder which made it that much harder to hold in her laughter but Tina gave her that look again so she would do it anyway. For Tina, she would do anything.

    Peggy wasn’t impressed, big shocker there. She ignored Bette and turned to Tina.

    "Is there a problem or not?"

    "There was earlier but we sorted it out. 6 models and half our staff are sick. Luckily we managed to get some help and replacements so we should be done in time"

    Peggy tossed Bette another look, glancing behind her at Shane and pursed her lips at their attire before looking back to Tina.

    "And you trust these . . replacements?"

    "Of course"

    "This is an important event, Tina. It’ll probably the highlight for the entire year assuming they don’t screw it up. Do you really want to put such a task on-"

    "On what?" Bette cut in with a sharp tone, unable to hold her tongue any longer.

    "Excuse me? Just who do you think you are speaking to me like that?"

    Peggy glared at her as Shane was about to pull Bette away but before she could, Tina stepped beside the brunette and slipped an arm around her waist.

    "She’s my wife"

    Helena looked as though she were going to object but Bette gave her a look as if daring the heiress to say something. Helena thought the better or it, not because she was scared of Bette but because it would put her at even more uneven grounds with Tina. She would deal with Bette in her own private way.

    "Your wife?" Peggy laughed but no one joined in, she gave Helena a harsh look in which the brunette returned a look of her own, silently telling her mother she would explain later.

    "Yes my wife" Tina continued trying not to smile when she felt Bette’s strong arm wrap around her own waist and gave it a loving squeeze, "And in case you’ve forgotten Peggy, Phyllis was the one who gave me the opportunity to put on this show, my show as you pointed out. So like it or not, these are the people I chose to help me and I think they’re doin’ an amazin’ job. I appreciate the concern but we have it under control. Now if you’ll excuse us, we have work to do"

    2. So, Helena must be suffering from some mild form of heat stroke, and one of the symptoms seems to be craving a beat down of massive proportions from Bette. Oh well, I suppose it might not matter what Bette does if Tina gets to Helena first. Helena is pathetic, though. She’s not going to break them up at this stage, even Katherine is on their side now. Great chapter, thanks for the post! :)

    5. Oh I sure hope that Bette or Tina gives helena the beating of he life and slams her ass in the limo and tells them to lose her on the way to the nearest airport. wait for the next chapter. The peabody’s really need to get out of town. Never thought I’d feel that way about peggy but damn, she is a super bitch in this one. Thanks.

    6. I hope Bette doesn’t fly at Helena like some Neanderthal. She should dig up some pride, ignore, seat back and laugh at the insane woman. IMO it’s Tina’s battle, she is the one to deal with Helena once and for all.

    11. Argh! …. I can’t believe that this story is almost end! And I can’t believe that Helena is playing the innocent party here! I can’t wait to see what would happen to her once Tina or Bette see her. Thanks for another amazing update Liah!! :-) brava ;-)
