    Spaghetti Night

Michelle smiles and cups Bette’s face. ”We can, but whatever it is, we’ll figure it out… I’m just happy for you, baby….”

Bette smiles and leans in and kisses Michelle.

Just as the kiss ends, Michelle tugs on Bette’s tank top, pulling her back in and deepening the kiss. Bette moans as she slowly climbs on top of her wife…

    West Hollywood Academy High School…

The following morning, Michelle is standing outside, greeting students as they make their way inside.

Olivia speaks to a group of students and then hip-checks Michelle. ”Hey, you….”

Michelle smiles at her best friend. ”Hey, I thought you were gonna be late this morning?”

Olivia smiles as she waves at a parent. ”Matt ended up taking his mom to the airport, so I was off the hook…thank goodness…”

Michelle laughs as she also waves at the parent of one of her students.

Olivia playfully stands back and studies Michelle. ”Well, you look a lot more relaxed than you have recently…. and yet you look exhausted at the same time….”

Michelle smirks as she smooths down her skirt. ”Let’s just say Bette and I had a nice chat last night….”

    ”Uh huh…. just a chat?”

”Well, in the Bette Porter kinda way….”

Olivia laughs and playfully nudges Michelle. ”Nasty….”

Michelle laughs again and is about to elaborate when another teacher, Ava, walks over.

”Hey, you two… Am I interrupting, or can I join the fun this morning?” Ava asks with a bright smile.

Michelle chuckles and looks at Olivia. ”Morning Ava, no, it’s nothing, just Liv being inappropriate as usual…”

Ava smiles. ”Ah…” she then holds up one of the cups of coffee in her hand. ”I won a free coffee this morning; I can’t drink both, so…. interested?” She asks Michelle.

Michelle smiles. ”Sure, thank you so much. Maybe I’ll actually make it to lunch without dosing off during class…”

Olivia smiles and nods toward Michelle. ”She needs it…. had a long night…”

Michelle smirks and nudges Olivia as she takes her first sip of coffee.

”Are we still on for dinner and drinks tonight?” Ava asks Olivia.

Oliva smiles. ”Are you kidding me? I’ve been looking forward to it all week…”

Ava smiles. ”Awesome….” She then looks at Michelle. ”You should come, Michelle…”

    1. Dani and Michelle are not happy, but Dani is much more selfish, inconsiderate and self-conscious. On the other hand, it’s great that Bette and Tina are no longer arguing but are strengthening their bonds.
      ❤️❤️❤️

    2. I hope Michelle called Olivia and told her that she would not be joining her and Ava for dinner but would be going to Tina’s for spaghetti night. That would be the polite thing to do.

For a news reporter, Dani has very little memory. And to egg Bette on with the indication that she has made a lot of money? Not very appropriate dinner conversation.

In Dani’s defense, it is not easy to carry on a long-distance relationship. And knowing you are leaving the next morning for a long period of absence is a downer. However, it doesn’t get any easier when she is not enjoying her time with Tina as much as she can. And a part of that is to socialize with Michelle and Tina while Bette is with Angie and Mickey. A part is the welcoming of their guest even if that is not what you want to be doing. Dani’s conversation at the dinner table seamed to be aimed at impressing Bette or even make Bette jealous. And it was not very effective.

Michelle? So Michelle believes that Bette was a party-hearty girl before she came along? Is that really what she wants Tina to know about Bette? Humm…

Thanks for the update. Anxious to read more.

      • I think Michelle is tryna send Tina a message that Bette would “still” be a playa if disappointed and sex is withheld. She’s trying to pre-empt any possibility of attraction arising btwn Tibette.

Dani???? She knows how attractive and alluring Tina can be AND her nuturing nature is non-threating which makes Tina even more attractive.

Jst feels like Tina may be more reserved than Dani woud like. Noticed that Tina has not entered an excusive ship /Danni ad wans Bette to be Angie’s legal Mom

        • When someone moves in with a romantic interest, is there no longer a presumption of an exclusive relationship? Maybe I am just old… but I always assume that people who live together have an exclusive relationship unless they have an agreement that they don’t.

I must say DumplinT, that you use your imagination and assumptions of who you think these characters are far more than I do. I am reading the story and allowing it to tell me who these people are. I don’t know that Dani believes that Tina is knock down gorgeous. She has never said. All she has said about Bette is that she is tall. And now she indicating that she knows Bette has money. And she has indicated that she is not liking this long distance relationship and is a little worried about Tina’s dealings with Bette and Angie. That to me says… Dani is aware that Bette and Tina had a long term relationship and have history together. The only reason Tina is in LA is because of her job, otherwise, Tina would still be in Florida living her life with Dani and Angie.

As far as the dinner conversation. Dani needs to remember that Angie is 6 years old and she is listening to every word at the table. She is absolutely enamored with her other mother and anything negative about Bette will not play well with Angie. So, proceeding on with the conversation about Bette doing well at her gallery and Bette shutting down that conversation? That may be nothing… but sometimes a six year old will read the emotions behind the statements and realize that Bette and Dani are not best friends. How does Angie then respond to that?

Seems to me Dani really is just self-centered and is resenting not being the center of the universe for Tina. Newsflash: Dani will never be the center of Tina’s universe. She has her job and her child and she has her friends and her own well being with will take center stage from time to time. When the time is appropriate, I am sure Tina will give Dani the attention she desires.

Thanks for responding to my comment…
