Michelle thinks for a beat. ”Maybe…”
”Come on, we’ve decided we needed to vent once a week…. we had a blast last time…” Ava says with a smile.
Olivia smiles and nods. ”It’s very therapeutic, plus we’re gonna look over the schedule for the dreaded conference this weekend and try to map out our escape plan each day….”
Michelle thinks again and then smiles. ”What the hell, why not…. I’ll let Bette know she’s on her own tonight for a bit with Mickey….”
Olivia smiles and gently claps. ”Yay….”
Michelle smiles, but it slowly fades when she looks across the street and sees Tina walking out of the Elementary building.
Olivia follows Michelle’s line of sight and gaps. ”Oh, shit, is that her?”
Michelle keeps her eyes on Tina and nods. ”Yep…that’s her…”
Olivia also looks across the street. ”Who’s that?”
”Uh, Chelly’s wife’s ex…” Olivia responds.
”Oh…shit…” Ava says as she admires Tina.
Olivia turns and nudges Ava. ”Hey, put your eyes back in your head…she’s the enemy…”
”Right…sorry….” Ava says as she turns her gaze back to Tina.
Michelle takes a deep breath. ”I’ll be right back….” She says as she walks away from her friends.

West Hollywood Academy Elementary….
Tina is typing away on her phone, replying to an email. After proofreading the email a few times, she presses send and slides the phone into her pocket. As she pulls her keys from her pocket, she looks up and locks eyes with Michelle, who’s walking towards her.
”Great….” Tina mumbles before she gives Michelle an awkward smile and wave.
Michelle returns the gesture just as she makes it over to her.
”Hi Tina….” Michelle awkwardly says.
”Hi…” Tina says.
Michelle takes a deep breath before she continues. ”Listen, about what happened yesterday… I was out of line; I never should have come at you like that…I apologize…”
Tina slowly nods. ”Apology accepted…. you’re protective of Bette, I get it…”
Michelle gently smiles. ”I bet….”
They hold awkward eye contact for a few beats before Michelle clears her throat and moves on. ”Um, so anyway…… I was hoping we could start over, maybe agree to a truce?”
Tina chuckles. ”Sure, but I was unaware we were at war……”
”Well, not war per se…. just a little awkwardness. I’m hoping we can get past it for Angelica’s sake, and I know for a fact my wife would appreciate it….”

Dani and Michelle are not happy, but Dani is much more selfish, inconsiderate and self-conscious. On the other hand, it’s great that Bette and Tina are no longer arguing but are strengthening their bonds.

My 1st thought is about there may be trouble brewing for Michelle if she ends up w/partying w/her home girls at the teachers conf in San Diego
I hope Michelle called Olivia and told her that she would not be joining her and Ava for dinner but would be going to Tina’s for spaghetti night. That would be the polite thing to do.
For a news reporter, Dani has very little memory. And to egg Bette on with the indication that she has made a lot of money? Not very appropriate dinner conversation.
In Dani’s defense, it is not easy to carry on a long-distance relationship. And knowing you are leaving the next morning for a long period of absence is a downer. However, it doesn’t get any easier when she is not enjoying her time with Tina as much as she can. And a part of that is to socialize with Michelle and Tina while Bette is with Angie and Mickey. A part is the welcoming of their guest even if that is not what you want to be doing. Dani’s conversation at the dinner table seamed to be aimed at impressing Bette or even make Bette jealous. And it was not very effective.
Michelle? So Michelle believes that Bette was a party-hearty girl before she came along? Is that really what she wants Tina to know about Bette? Humm…

I think Michelle is tryna send Tina a message that Bette would “still” be a playa if disappointed and sex is withheld. She’s trying to pre-empt any possibility of attraction arising btwn Tibette.
Dani???? She knows how attractive and alluring Tina can be AND her nuturing nature is non-threating which makes Tina even more attractive.
Jst feels like Tina may be more reserved than Dani woud like. Noticed that Tina has not entered an excusive ship /Danni ad wans Bette to be Angie’s legal Mom
When someone moves in with a romantic interest, is there no longer a presumption of an exclusive relationship? Maybe I am just old… but I always assume that people who live together have an exclusive relationship unless they have an agreement that they don’t.
I must say DumplinT, that you use your imagination and assumptions of who you think these characters are far more than I do. I am reading the story and allowing it to tell me who these people are. I don’t know that Dani believes that Tina is knock down gorgeous. She has never said. All she has said about Bette is that she is tall. And now she indicating that she knows Bette has money. And she has indicated that she is not liking this long distance relationship and is a little worried about Tina’s dealings with Bette and Angie. That to me says… Dani is aware that Bette and Tina had a long term relationship and have history together. The only reason Tina is in LA is because of her job, otherwise, Tina would still be in Florida living her life with Dani and Angie.
As far as the dinner conversation. Dani needs to remember that Angie is 6 years old and she is listening to every word at the table. She is absolutely enamored with her other mother and anything negative about Bette will not play well with Angie. So, proceeding on with the conversation about Bette doing well at her gallery and Bette shutting down that conversation? That may be nothing… but sometimes a six year old will read the emotions behind the statements and realize that Bette and Dani are not best friends. How does Angie then respond to that?
Seems to me Dani really is just self-centered and is resenting not being the center of the universe for Tina. Newsflash: Dani will never be the center of Tina’s universe. She has her job and her child and she has her friends and her own well being with will take center stage from time to time. When the time is appropriate, I am sure Tina will give Dani the attention she desires.
