”Take care of me? I don’t need anyone taking care of me Aunt Vera.”

”That’s what your father wanted for you in a man.”

”Well that’s not my goal in being with someone I would love Alice regardless of her being able to take care of me.” Hearing Tasha stern answer Aunt Vera got off of Alice and Tasha then turned her attention to Christina and Dee.

”So Christina what about you?”

”What do you mean?”

”Janet do you condone this behavior?”

”They are adults they can be with whoever they want.”

”Do you think my brother wanted this for his daughters?”

”Well I’m sure he didn’t but they are both happy and I can’t argue with that and neither should anyone else.” That was Janet’s way of putting an end to it. Later when they went to bed, Vera watched Alice and Tasha go upstairs together. She shook her head in disgust thinking about how two of her nieces were both gay. Tasha turned over in the bed and came face to face with Alice’s open eyes.

”What are you doing up?”

”I don’t know somehow I knew you were up and then suddenly I woke up what’s the matter?”

”I’m just thinking.”

”It must be something very serious I’ve been quiet back here for about 30 minutes.”

”Why didn’t you say something?”

”If you would have went back to sleep then I would have too I know you needed a moment alone with your thoughts.”

”Well I thank you for that, “Alice leaned in and kissed her.

”Come here, ”Alice laid on her back and Tasha laid almost over her with her arm draped over her.

“I’m sorry about my Aunt Vera she can be a pain sometimes I think she just wants the best for us not understanding that we already have the best of the best, “she says referring to Alice and Dee. She also wanted Alice to understand her family can’t live her life for her. Alice raised up in the bed and Tasha moved on her side.

”Tasha, it doesn’t’ t matter what people may say about us all that counts is how we feel about each other. It’s easy to tell someone you love them but it’s harder to show it. I’m here with you because I want to be and I want you to understand that, “Alice says looking deep into her eyes. Those words rocked the core of Tasha’s heart at that point she had to get a kiss. Alice had a very serious look on her face. At that moment, their love went to a higher level the one where you shut the rest of the world out and it’s just you and the person you love. Tasha touched her lips against Alices and the fire started to burn within the kiss grew passionately and Alice didn’t know if she had it in her to stop.
