“I should have told him then he was so upset with me when he found out I was gay and I should have told him.” Christina knocked on the driver window.
“Hey Slim you gonna be ok?”
“She’ll be fine, she just needs a moment.”
“We’re going to Simone’s, you know to help with our woes. I think we need some time to take our minds off of this impending funeral.”
“Well we’ll see you later then,” Alice said.
“Are you sure you’re not coming?”
“Positive but have a good time, “Alice lets the window back up, “Come on let’s get out of here.”
Alice drove around until she found a nice hotel. She paid for the room for a week but doubted they would be there that long. She held Tasha’s hand as they went to their room. When they got inside Alice undressed Tasha and then herself. She pulled the covers back and they both got in the bed where they held each other. Alice thought the floodgates had opened because Tasha couldn’t stop crying.
“Let it all out.”
“It just hurts so much.”
“I know baby, I know.”
“I love you Alice, I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“There is no remedy for love but to love more,” Alice said.
“That’s was beautiful.” Tasha leaned in and kissed Alice. Alice knew the kiss was going to lead to more. Tasha flipped her on her back but Alice was having none of it and she flipped Tasha on her back, “This is for you.”
Alice made a point of running her fingertips over Tasha. Tasha made a small groan. Alice kissed Tasha until she couldn’t breathe. If it weren’t for breathing she didn’t think she’d ever stop kissing Tasha. That afternoon and early evening was filled with lovemaking. They took turns pleasing each other then finally pleasing each other at the same time. They collapsed with Tasha almost draping Alice.
“He who is in love is wiser and becoming wiser, sees newly every time he looks at the object beloved, drawing from it with his eyes and his mind those virtues which it possesses, “Those were Tasha’s last words before she fell asleep.
Everyone had just finished dinner at Simone’s parents home and Janet, Chris and Dee were heading back to the house. As Simone walks them to their car, she says to them all, ”Thanks for coming and tell Slim I miss her.” She had a look on her face that spoke volumes.

I am a true blue Tibette fan, but I love Tasha so I look forward to reading more of this fic. I did not like the Alice from the show or most of the fiction here being portrayed as a nosy busy body so I look forward to seeing her in a new light. PPS :)
