    Lunch with Shane, Alice and Tina

    “I’m sorry Alice but I do have a business to run, your paycheck depends on my working all the time”

    “Ok, ok I get it but you need to go out have some fun, when was the last time you got laid Porter?” Alice asked

    “Alice!!” both Shane and Bette said at the same time.

    “I’m just asking” Alice said with a grin

    “Look Al, not that it’s any of your business but I have a date tonight ok,”

    “OH REALLY, do tell you’ve been holding out on us Porter? Spill it who is it?”

    “Come on Alice it’s not any of our business”

    “It’s ok Shane, I have a date with Catherine”

    “Catherine, the gallery owner?” Alice asked

    “Yes Al the gallery owner”

    “Hubba,Hubba” Alice said “But Bette she’s so plastic, don’t get me wrong she’s hot!! There is just something so fake about her”

    “You know Bette for once I have to agree with Alice on this one there is something about her that rubs me the wrong way” Shane said

    “I’m not marrying her you guys were just going out I have some tickets to a play I want to take her to, then we’ll take it from there see what happens” Bette said with a raised eyebrow

    “So, can’t join us for lunch?” asked Shane

    “No I’m afraid not I’m going to work right through lunch Tina has already ordered me lunch Kits sending it right over”

    “Hey speaking of ugly Tina how’s she doing?” asked Alice

    “Alice I’ve told you not to call her that! And she’s doing great I can’t believe how quickly she’s caught on, it’s almost like Allison never left plus she makes the best coffee I’ve ever had I almost want to offer her a ton of money just to stay and make me coffee all day”

    Just then there was a knock at the door and Tina peeked her head around the door

    “Excuse me Bette do you mind if I take my lunch now?”

    “No, Tina go right ahead, can you have all calls transferred directly to voicemail I really need to finish this” 

    “Sure no problem”

    “Hey Tina, you want to join me and Al for lunch? We’re just heading over to the plant” asked Shane

    1. Something tells me Tina is going to ask Alice to help her with a makeover! I can see it now–Tina’s going to come in Monday morning with a brand new look and it will make Bette take notice!! Catherine who?? LMAO I love this story. Don’t keep us waiting long for an update! PPS

    2. great chapter – I really like this story! I hope Alice tells Bette everything she knows about Tina – and i agree with the other posts I hope Alice helps her with a makeover. Its clear that these two are attracted to each other. I can’t wait to read more! PPS

Man what a heart wrenching story Tina told…and I think Tina is mega jealous of Catherine, but worry not; I get the feeling no matter how sexy Catherine is, Bette only had eyes for one woman…Tina! Bet she’ll finally realize it tonight while she’s out with Catherine. PPS can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for us.

    5. I dont like Catherine. Like Tina said, she does what she can on the limited income. How many of them has worked two jobs and still the head of her class>If Tina had the money she would realy know how to dress. She clean,had the money to have braces put on,she eat frugely and now has a beautiful smile and the glasses are next. Her family is missing out on a wonderful person That is who we should feel sad for, they have and will miss so much Thanks so much

    10. She didn’t notice her jacket cause she was only looking at her eyes and her breasts!!! Tina’s story was heartbreaking, but I have a feeling Bette will be making her feel much better very soon, right? Great chapter, PPS.
