“I ran up to my room and cried I cried for a long time. I was only 17 at the time so I couldn’t just run off and enroll without my parents besides I had no money. I found a job and worked my ass off I saved all my money I worked at the local grocery store during the day and then worked at the movie theater at night, and saved all my money. When I was working at the movie theater I met a girl her name was Tammy, we became friends I never had a best friend I had friends but not a best friend. We became very close we would spend long hours at the movie theater after work just watching movies after everyone had left. One day were sitting there watching a scary movie, I think it was Aliens or something along toughs lines there was a scary part we both jumped and grabbed each other we kind of hugged and then we kissed”
Shane and Alice were both now sitting there with their mouths open starting at Tina ignoring their food that was sitting right in front of them.
“That kiss” Tina said “it was like someone turned on a switch inside me I finally saw the light I didn’t feel odd, for the first time I didn’t feel like an outsider I felt like that’s where I belonged I was always around good looking boys I helped most of the jocks at school with their homework and study for big test, looking back I was never attracted to them, granted I was never pretty I was always the odd ball the girl with the thick glasses and buck teeth, Tammy, she made me feel beautiful”
“Tammy and I continued to share kisses after hours at the movie theater, we talked and talked and managed to make out like the Horney teenager we were, I thought I was in love.”
“Wait a minute” Alice interrupted “Are you telling us you’re gay?”
Tina looked down and shyly said “Yes, I’m gay”
“Wow, Tina you’re just full of surprises aren’t you?” said Alice “Go on, continue.”
“Ok so, finally I had saved enough money to buy a plane ticket to California and enough to hold me until I found a job. One day I got enough courage to tell my parents about my big plans to fly to California and attend college, again my mom dismissed me told me she would not hear such nonsense from me she started at me again about finding the right boy to marry, I didn’t need an education I needed a husband, So I told her no actually I screamed “I’m gay mom! I’m gay” “I don’t like men I like women” Tina paused for what seemed like hrs.

Something tells me Tina is going to ask Alice to help her with a makeover! I can see it now–Tina’s going to come in Monday morning with a brand new look and it will make Bette take notice!! Catherine who?? LMAO I love this story. Don’t keep us waiting long for an update! PPS
great chapter – I really like this story! I hope Alice tells Bette everything she knows about Tina – and i agree with the other posts I hope Alice helps her with a makeover. Its clear that these two are attracted to each other. I can’t wait to read more! PPS
Man what a heart wrenching story Tina told…and I think Tina is mega jealous of Catherine, but worry not; I get the feeling no matter how sexy Catherine is, Bette only had eyes for one woman…Tina! Bet she’ll finally realize it tonight while she’s out with Catherine. PPS can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for us.
Alice need to take Tina shopping, I like to see Bette’s face when Tina comes back after that….
I dont like Catherine. Like Tina said, she does what she can on the limited income. How many of them has worked two jobs and still the head of her class>If Tina had the money she would realy know how to dress. She clean,had the money to have braces put on,she eat frugely and now has a beautiful smile and the glasses are next. Her family is missing out on a wonderful person That is who we should feel sad for, they have and will miss so much Thanks so much

She didn’t notice her jacket cause she was only looking at her eyes and her breasts!!! Tina’s story was heartbreaking, but I have a feeling Bette will be making her feel much better very soon, right? Great chapter, PPS.
