Tina felt comfortable; with Shane and Alice she felt she could trust them.
“Well, my mom was always against me studying film or going into the movie business, or maybe even college, I’ve known for a long time I wanted to make movies or somehow be involved in the movie making process, I wasn’t very popular in high school I was a nerd I guess I still am. Shocking huh?” Tina said with a chuckle.” I worked really hard to get out of there as soon as I could. I guess I’ve always felt I never really fit in. So I worked really hard and managed to graduate a year early. School was always easy for me I seemed to absorb everything the teachers said or taught all I had to do was listen my teachers all called me Einstein. Being I was the smart one the teachers asked me to tutor the jocks helped I them, write their essay and pass their test and that made me some friends.
One of my teachers who knew about my film obsession and my dream to make movies handed me an application for USC she said they had one of the best film programs available, she told me I had the grades and I should consider going. I went home I was so excited and I showed my mom she kind of laughed at me and said “Christina you can make movies that’s for fancy people.” The next day I asked my teacher if she would help me fill out the application to USC she agreed to help me she helped me send all the required paperwork, my transcripts, looking back I now realized she knew my mom wasn’t too happy about my wanting to attend USC she even gave me the money to send in the application, she helped me make a short film that I was required to send.
About a month later I received a letter from USC saying I was accepted to their film program I was so excited they even offered me a full scholarship all I had to do was show up. I told my mom and she looked at me and said “Christina don’t be silly you aren’t going away to no USC you’re going to stay here find a good man to provide for you get married and give me grandbabies” Tina mimicked her mom speaking with a heavy southern accent.

Something tells me Tina is going to ask Alice to help her with a makeover! I can see it now–Tina’s going to come in Monday morning with a brand new look and it will make Bette take notice!! Catherine who?? LMAO I love this story. Don’t keep us waiting long for an update! PPS
great chapter – I really like this story! I hope Alice tells Bette everything she knows about Tina – and i agree with the other posts I hope Alice helps her with a makeover. Its clear that these two are attracted to each other. I can’t wait to read more! PPS
Man what a heart wrenching story Tina told…and I think Tina is mega jealous of Catherine, but worry not; I get the feeling no matter how sexy Catherine is, Bette only had eyes for one woman…Tina! Bet she’ll finally realize it tonight while she’s out with Catherine. PPS can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for us.
Alice need to take Tina shopping, I like to see Bette’s face when Tina comes back after that….
I dont like Catherine. Like Tina said, she does what she can on the limited income. How many of them has worked two jobs and still the head of her class>If Tina had the money she would realy know how to dress. She clean,had the money to have braces put on,she eat frugely and now has a beautiful smile and the glasses are next. Her family is missing out on a wonderful person That is who we should feel sad for, they have and will miss so much Thanks so much

She didn’t notice her jacket cause she was only looking at her eyes and her breasts!!! Tina’s story was heartbreaking, but I have a feeling Bette will be making her feel much better very soon, right? Great chapter, PPS.
