    “Ok guys I’ll see you next week”

     

    “Next week?” Alice asked

     

    “Yeah I’m taking the weekend off and if all goes well I’m taking Monday off as well”

     

    “”Good for you Bette you deserve it”

     

    “Thanks Shane”

     

    “Ok guys I’ll see you”

     

    “Hold on Bette I’ll walk out with you I have to go, I have to go ever TK’s place and pick up her mail”

     

    “You’re going to Tina’s?” Bette asked

     

    “Yeah I’ve been picking up her mail all week, she gave me her key I need to water her plants, I hope they haven’t died”

     

    “Wait T, gave you a key?”

     

    “Yeah just before she left, you’re not mad or anything right?”

     

    “No, no I’m not mad, I’m just confused didn’t she ask me?”

     

    “She probably figured you were too busy, besides she offered you a key to her place and you turned her down” Alice said

     

    “What? You turned down a key to Tina’s place?” Kit asked

     

    Shane just shook her head side to side.

     

    “Bette, Bette, Bette always afraid of commitment” Kit said shaking her head

     

    “I just think she should have her privacy you know, it’s not like we’re married or anything”

     

    “This isn’t about you two being married Bette, it about trust, being in a committed relationship”

     

    “How can someone so Alpha with a Yale degree be so insecure, and thick headed? You’re going to have to show Tina, you want the relationship to move forward Bette, I’m not talking marriage, or even living together, maybe a little more commitment and showing her you’re not afraid to take that next step whatever that maybe, whenever that maybe” Kit added

     

    “Alice, give me the key”

     

    “What? “

     

    “Give me the key Al, look I’m planning a long weekend with Tina, I just want to get some clothes for her, I’ll pick up her mail and water her plants ok?”

     

    Alice was hesitant she didn’t want Tina getting mad.

     

    “Alice, give her the key” Shane said

     

    “Fine, but if she gets mad, you and Shane beat me down for it”

    2. Finally, Bette is giving into her massive feelings that she has for Tina. Love the closeness that they shared during the weekend, just hope that it continues.

    4. That was a great chapter and rather sweet. Good that Bette knows not everyone is like jodi and you can trust others not to break your heart. Also she has learned that Ms. Kennard is a very loving and loyal young lady that loves only Bette and wants to be loved only by Bette. Son Bette will need to come clean and tell Tina the truth about jodi and how she was hurt by her and that is why she has trust issues. Great chapter. Thanks for posting.
