“I see you talked to Shane and Alice”
“Just Shane this morning” Bette said “I hope you don’t mind she shared your story with me”
“No, I don’t mind, I’m a little embarrassed”
“T, don’t be embarrassed, I think your amazing you should be proud of yourself”
“My meeting with Helena is on Wednesday” Tina said trying to change the subject.
“Do me a favor T; don’t sign anything, until I get my lawyers to look at it. Can you let me do that for you please? I know you’re very smart and I’m not trying to take that away from you, but I know how these people work I just don’t want anyone to take advantage of you”
Tina sat there for a while and silent
“Ok Bette, Thank you”
After lunch they continued to work, it was now early in the evening and Bette decided to call it a night.
“Ok T, I think were done for today, do you want to work on the video from school?”
“Bette, if it’s ok with you I would rather do it here I can bring in my equipment, My roommate is a party animal and this being the weekend I’ll be too distracted to work it on it from there”
“Yeah sure do whatever you need to do”
“Ok then I’m going to head back to campus I’ll be back early tomorrow” Tina said
“Ok T, thank you for today and thank you in advance for tomorrow I’m just going to stick around and clean up some of this mess”
“Bette you need me to help?”
“No, T its fine you go on, and thank you again”
“You’re Welcome” Tina said.
Tina grabs her bag and heads out the door, Bette watches her as she walks out, funny how Bette never noticed the little swagger Tina had when she walked, Bette found it totally and completely sexy.
Tina arrives super early on Sunday as she walks toward the door she notices Bette’s car in the lot, she figures Bette had just gotten here, as she makes her way to Bette’s office she knocks on the door and slowly opens it.
“Bette it’s me Tina”
Tina gets no response and slowly walk opens the door that’s when she notices a sleeping Bette on the couch, Tina walks over looking down at her sleeping boss is totally amazed with Bette’s beauty she notices the soft curls falling around her face and her mocha colored skinned, Tina just wants to reach out and run he fingers through the mass of curls. Tina takes off her jacket and drapes it over sleeping boss, Bette automatically grabs the jacket and pulls it toward her falling deeper into sleep.

I like the twist… though Tina is the ‘ugly duckling’ coming of age so to speak, the title seems to be from her gorgeous boss’ perspective… PPS!
This is so cute. Tina the ugly duckling (really the beautiful swan) working hard to be successful and lusting after the incredible hard working Bette Porter.
What a great story! Maybe Bette can revisit that dinner invitation after her presentation… a victory celebration with Tina. Glad Bette’s able to see beyond the big glasses and unflattering clothes… although Tina in those jeans certainly helped! Look forward to seeing how her interview with Helena goes.
I have the feeling Bette is going to miss Tina like crazy after she successfully lands a concrete with the movie studio. Perhaps this will prompt her to realize that Tina already holds her heart. This is such a wonderful story! Thanks for sharing it.

I yust chatched up with your story. I love it. I love this shy and ‘ugly’ Tina but in the inside she is a strong young and beautiful lady. I like Bette that she sees unbeknown to her the lovley and beautiful side of Tina. I can’t wit for more. Great you for your first one. PPS
Tina seems very comfortable in her skin and she takes care of Bette like it is secon nature. Can’t wait for them to get closer, maybe Tina’s tutoring session will be canceled and she can go back and have dinner with Bette. PS
Love this story. Your Tina is loving and caring as always and I am very glad to see that. She is dedicated to her life and what it is she is trying to do and still has time to feel and care for others. That is the mark of a very wonderful person that deserves the same care and treatment for herself that she gives to others, yet she asks for nothing for herself. Now it is Bette’s turn to do some things for Tina. Bette needs to investigate what she needs and pay her more for starters. Does Tina take the bus or does he have a car of her own? I’l bet she takes the bus, and if that is the case, Bette shoudl buy her a car with insurance so it will be a little easier for her to commute from the dorm to school. And Bette should make this job more than temporary so Tina can stop having to go all over town for temp jobs. I like this Tina very much. This is a prime example of “pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps.” Tina has done a magnificient job of taking care of herself. And no doubt she will rise quickly to the top of her chosen profession. Bette should give her a car for graduation but give it to her early. Great update. PPS
