Chapter 6
Tina was sitting in the elegant office of Helena Peabody totally at awe of her surroundings everything looked so expensive Tina thought. Tina was wringing her hands together when the door to the office opened and Tina saw one of the most beautiful women she had ever seen.
Helena walked over to Tina.
“Oh no this won’t do,” Helena said as she looked Tina up and down.
“Your Christina Kennard?” asked Helena with a look of disbelief
Checking Tina up and down Helena again said,
“Oh no, God no” Helena said in her very British accent
“I’m Helena Peabody”
“Uh I’m Christina Kennard, nice to meet finally meet you” Tina said feeling very uncomfortable
Helena took a deep breath and spoke:
“Ms. Kennard”
“Tina, everyone calls me Tina”
“Ok Tina, I don’t have to tell you how impressed we were with your work, you were one, actually no that’s wrong you were the best intern we have ever had, your talent and vision is far better than any of my senior executives that I have working for me and I only hire the best. Plain and simple I want to hire you. I’ve spoken to your professors, checked a couple of your references and needless to say I’m very impressed, they all sing your praises and they all admire your hard work and dedication. Last night I had a chance to watch your documentaries and short films and they are some of the best I’ve seen, mummy had mentioned she also saw a presentation video you put together for your current employer and she found it to be quite excellent.” Helena, paused “Bottom line Tina I want you for Shiloh-Peabody studios.”
“I would really be interested in working here as well” Tina said trying to control her excitement.
“Tina, how do I put his mildly, umm being a producer an executive requires that one maintain a certain shall we say…Image. If we were to agree on terms for your employment I would have to require you undergo a certain image adjustment?”
Tina understood what Helena was saying and even though she was embarrassed by what Helena insinuated Tina wasn’t insulted she knew image was key in the movie business more often than not it was the way you looked rather than the talent you possessed.

What a wonderful story. Not liking Catherineso much. Maybe Tina will drop by the mag and ruin Catherine’s plans??? I’m really looking forward to seeing Tina’s transformation into the beautiful swan that we all know that she really is. PPS

i thought the last chapter was it for today… imagine my surprise when i saw you posted again.. now this catherine… its time for bette to lose her… and i do hope bette puts alice in her place…ugly tina… like bette hall wrote above… we all should be that ugly… i wish tina would of called or went back to bette after the meeting… or bette should of called her… but jenny… OMG… i hope tina is not taking advise from jenny… ok… PPS

I agree with fellow Texan, BettyVHall. And might I ask “has Bette lost her everlovin’ mind” planning to stay the night with Catherine is just plain crazy and she even hesitated. In my book if you hesitate, you really don’t want to spend the night or even have dinner. All these naysayers will be jealous as everything when they learn that Tina will be gong to work as a VP. Yea Tina, go girl. If she takes the job and I hope she will that at least solves the question of her having transportation and making a salary that everyone would love to have. Wonder what Bette will think? Can hardly wait to see what happens next. And who the hell cares what Alice will think. PPS
