    Author Notes: Hey everyone, I'm so excited to share the updated version of my story with you I've rewritten and expanded it, adding Tina's POV to give you a deeper look into their journey and I hope you love it too I'd love to know what you think.
    Summary:
    Bette and Tina’s love story began with sparks and endless excitement. They built a life together, filled with dreams of a future, but over time, cracks began to form. Now, standing on the brink of divorce, they must decide whether their relationship can be mended or if it’s beyond repair. Can they overcome the pain and past mistakes, or is it time to let go for good? Their journey is one of healing, forgiveness, and the search for hope in the face of uncertainty. I hope you enjoy following their journey and the emotional twists that come with it.

    Tina runs her fingers through her damp hair, the familiar sensation of it slicked back against her scalp grounding her, providing a quiet comfort in its simplicity. She closes her eyes again, letting the sound of the water be the only thing in her mind. It’s a fleeting respite, but she takes it, knowing the day ahead won’t be easy.

    She grabs the shampoo and massages it into her hair, the gentle lathering motion giving her a small sense of routine. The scent of lavender fills the bathroom, and she lets herself linger on the smell, letting it soothe her even as she continues to rinse out the suds. Her movements feel automatic, yet each action requires more energy than the last, as if the simple routine of getting ready is now an uphill climb.

    Once she’s finished, Tina reaches for a soft towel, wrapping it around her body and stepping out of the shower. The cool air in the bathroom hits her skin, a contrast to the warmth of the water. She looks at herself in the mirror, her tired eyes staring back at her, a reminder of the sleepless nights spent alone in this space. She rubs her temples, trying to push the weariness away, before reaching for her skincare products. She smooths lotion over her face, the soft touch a small act of self care, a way to feel like she’s still in control, still taking care of herself.

    She applies a light layer of makeup concealer to hide the tiredness under her eyes, a sweep of mascara to give her eyes a little more life, and a hint of blush to add some color to her pale cheeks. It’s minimal, but it’s enough to make her feel like she’s managing, even if just a little. She brushes through her damp hair, letting it air dry as she turns her attention to her closet, the familiar hum of the house filling the silence around her.

    Tina selects a grey skirt suit a classic, professional choice. It’s sleek and sharp, exactly what she needs for court. She pairs it with a crisp white shirt, the fabric cool against her fingers. She doesn’t have the energy for anything too extravagant today. No bright colors, no bold patterns. She needs to feel composed, in control. She slips on the skirt, adjusts the shirt, and grabs her blazer, smoothing the fabric with her hands as if trying to smooth out the unease she feels inside.

    3. Oh dear, I just found your story today. Great start, well it’s sad, but I think Bette will do everything she can to win Tina back. What’s with the name Bradley Knox..What’s with the difference in the last name if these are Bette’s children? Please continue this story. Can’t wait for a new chapter. WE WANT MORE…FAST, FAST,FASTER. As for the last name his full name is Bradley Knox Porter. He’s the son of both Bette Porter and Tina Kennard.       I must tell you, accidentally I stumbled on this one on another website and there this first chapter is much much longer, with Tina’s POV. Can you fix that, for other readers here, please?
