“He’s early.” Sam said, as she saw Jayden’s father, Richard moving to the door, with his lawyer. Alice peeked through the curtains and said in a soft voice, she saw the lean woman, with dark hair.
“What is with the hot lawyers?” Alice asked, turning to the group and then back to the window. Her nose pressed to the glass, Dana growled and threw a pillow at her, and her forehead thumped on the pane of glass and she turned around to stare hard at Dana, and she saw everyone laughing and Jesse blurted out. His hands thrown up in the air in true Dana touchdown fashion. Marina closed her eyes at his antics and Lara was wishing she had a camera, because that was just too cute for words.
“Score one for the tennis player!” They all gave each other a look and Jesse shrugged his little shoulders, meeting Shane’s eyes. He got serious, looking very much like Jayden when he did that. Shane smiled at him, kissing his cheek and he said in his equally serious tone.
“I’m not going to like him.” Jesse stated, crossing his arms and Shane ruffled his hair. He sighed, crossing his arms and Shane gathered him up into her arms, holding him tight and protectively. She kissed the top of his head, his silky smooth hair tickling her nose.
“You behave young man.” Sam snorted from her seat next to Jesse and Shane, knowing that he wasn’t going to behave, and it was going to be the longest 2 days of Richard’s life. This gave her some delight; the jerk knew he had them between a rock and a hard place. Jesse was going to exert his will, and he could be a rambunctious young man when he wanted too. He didn’t normally rebel, but he was a typical 4 year old. Who was to say how he was going to act in a new environment?
The knock came, and Jayden turned away, not wanting to see the *****. She was far beyond angry with her father; she thought that he’d betrayed her by pulling this stunt.

Holy sh*t! You can’t kill Sam again! (Well, yes you can, but I really don’t want you to!)
