“You are scary smart some times.” Alice slaps Shane playfully in the shoulder.

“It’s a gift.” Shane shrugs. Tina sits pondering. Her thoughts are on her girlfriend.

“I need to go. Thank you.” Tina kisses Shane lovingly on the cheek.

“Thank you all for helping me get my head out of my ass.” She winks at the others and saunters away. She’s got a lot of work to do if she’s going to take the afternoon off.

She walks up to her house practically singing, a bottle of fine champagne and a dozen red roses in her hands. A small wrapped box is hiding in her purse. She has a lot of making up to do. She hopes Bette will forgive her. “God, I hope it’s not too late.” She whispers before nervously opening her front door. She has a giant smile on her face but the sight before her makes her deeply sad quickly to be replaced by a fiery rage.

“What the fuck is going on here!” Tina steps quickly to the sofa where Bette has her arm around Kelly and Kelly’s head is resting on her shoulder.

“Tina? What are you doing home?” Bette gets up excitedly to kiss her girlfriend. She’s smiling at Tina, so glad she remembered their anniversary after all. Tina holds her hand out in protest. Bette takes a step back.

“Get the fuck out of my house! How dare you?” Tina glares at the young blonde.

“Tina! What the hell?” Bette is shocked and embarrassed by her girlfriend sudden attack on her friend.

“It’s okay Bette. I should go.”

“Kelly. It’s fine. Stay. I just need to talk to Tina.”

“No! Get the fuck out!”

“Tina! She is not leaving!” Bette steps in between the two women.

“This is MY fucking house and I want her to go! NOW!” Tina is seething.

“Yes. This is your fucking house.” Bette says defeated. She looks disappointedly at Tina, shaking her head and dropping her eyes. She grabs her keys and pulls Kelly to the door.

“She’s in trouble, Tina. I need to find her a place to stay. I’ll be back later.”

“Bette. I’m fine. Please, I don’t want to cause any trouble.” Kelly looks apologetically at Tina.
