    Monday Monday — can’t trust that day

     

    OMG – FUCK – BUSTED !

     

    “Whose that ?”

     

    “Shane “

     

    “WHAT ! ” Shane and I both exclaim at the same time. I look at Shane who looks horrified.

     

    “I FANCY THE PRESIDENT ! ”

     

    “See ” Alice looks at us in vindication ” she has just admitted it “

     

    “Al – you are fucking insane “

     

    “Its true though Shane – its time to lie back, think of your nation and get your tongue working on the Presidential pussy “

     

    “Alice – you have said some crazy things but this is the ultimate – I do not have a thing for the President “

     

    “Its obvious isn’t it gals ? sex would chill her out – its just a way of helping her relax “

     

    As much as its almost funny to see Shane so embarrassed – especially in front of me I have to kill of this conversation – and dragging Alice in never fails.

     

    “Maybe you are protesting too much Alice – you could do it if you are as horny as you say the President is “

     

    Carmen and Dana both laugh “Hey – Tina’s got a point you know Al “

     

    “When did you last get laid Alice ? – if you got laid more recently than me I’ll do it – I’ll sleep with the boss ”  I say confidently

     

    This is not a high risk gamble – because I know I am going to win.

     

    Alice looks at me “Okay  – when did you last have sex Tina ?”

     

    I make a play of glancing at my watch ” About two hours ago “

     

    Lara puts her head around the door ” She’s waiting for all of you “

     

    We all pile into the Oval Office – Bette is perched on the end of her desk -she is wearing black jeans and a black shirt. I immediately think back to lying on her bed watching her get dressed. God I am so in lust with her – it is a craving that no amount of attention can satisfy. And what makes it extra special is knowing how intense her feelings are for me. Her eyes cannot disguise the passion she feels for me – her body cannot disguise the need it has to be covered by mine.

    9. Damn! Poor Shane, there’s very little that’s more painful than unrequieted, unspoken love. Hope she’ll be able to keep functioning and find someone of her own. Been wondering where you’d got to, hoping for rapid improvement, life and computer-wise.

    10. “Monday, Monday, sometimes it just turns out that way…” I had a fleeting thought earlier that Shane might see Bette as more than a boss and a friend. I can understand Shane’s jealousy too. I mean, she was Bette’s main woman so to speak for so long until Tina came along. As for the real life problems, I hope they continue to improve.

    21. Loving your writing, was giggling along as usual (particularly liked “we could call this scene study in confusion.”) and then you got me all subdued and pensive. Poor Shane. Cool twist – very interested to see how it plays out. I agree with the Carmen suggestion and trust you to work Shane’s feelings out in a suitably slow and thorough fashion. I adore this story and missed it while you were away, however your happiness is obviously more important than slaking the apparently infinite desire of your readers. Update when you can and be good to yourself. Thanks for writing.

    27. So Shane is crushin on Bette; well that explains why she was so against the preshooking up w/ Tina. Now that Shane’s secret has been revealed how is she going to see Tina and every day??? On to the next chapter.
