Tina nodded and touched Bette again
“You are going to need stuff from the hotel “
“I know “
Tina kissed Bette again.
“Don’t leave me though – not for a while “
“Okay “
The door opened and Alice came in with Shane – she looked worse that Bette had Tina thought. Tina got up and went to Alice and hugged her
“Are you okay ? “
“It just brings it all back “
“I know – I know sweetie. “
“Helena has driven Lara and Kit back to the Planet “
Shane went across and sat on the edge of the bed. Bette knew that the young woman was not the most tactile of people so she handed her the sonogram
“Met our son “
Shane had never seen a sight as sweet as the sonogram. She could make out his tiny little toes and his tiny fingers
“Oh God – is he alright ? “
“Yes – he’s been distressed by my blood pressure and the protein in my urine – now I’ve been stabilised he will start moving around more – want to see your nephew Alice ? “
Tina led Alice to the bed and Shane handed her the picture – Alice could barely see him through the tears .
“When I told her that I was pregnant Dana sent him a tiny tennis racket and little white shorts and tee shirt and even these small wristbands – when he’s old enough we will make sure he picks up a tennis racket – though personally I can see him winning an Olympic Gold medal for trampoline or high board diving the way he throws himself around “
Alice lent close to Bette and hugged her
“All I could think was that we were going to lose you and that was so unfair – as unfair as damn breast cancer killing Dana “
“I know sweetie – I know “
“Shane says that you have to stay here “
“ I do – how do you feel about coming back here in a few months time and seeing our baby “

Glad that the baby and Bette are okay and that Tina and Bette have found their way back to each other where they belong. But knowing you I am sure we are all in for more drama before to much time passes. I can also see the way being made for your great humor. tHAT WAS AMAZING For awhile though that Bette or the baby was not going to make it. They might go to Londan but will never stay,as both of their hearts are in LA as well as all the people they love. thanks for posting today
