    The Most Distance Course

Bette tried to reach out to Shane, she knew the brunette would never leave the poor girl alone. How could she anticipate? Two weeks after Tina disappeared, Shane dropped out the school, Bette no longer saw her again in the Wallace High, this time also, no one knew where she went, apparently, no one cared.

The rest of the story was nothing important to mention about, Bette went to the college, met a couple of men and women, but none of them really captured her heart. The proudest thing she did is telling her father that she’s a lesbian. Which took her long enough to gain the courage to truly face her sexuality, how she wished that she could come out earlier, then she wouldn’t have let Tina go.

Bette felt fortunate that Adele didn’t put her hand on her after she broke up the connection with “The Golden Circle”. The daughter of the chief knew that Bette held too many dirty secrets of hers, naturally, they made an invisible agreement. If Adele didn’t mess up with Bette, then Bette won’t spread out her scandal. Slowly, they established an interesting peace between them. Since she’s not one of the members in the popular group, Bette gradually became the invisible one in the school.

Basically, Bette felt herself a failure, even though she got rid of Adele and other bullies, students in school still afraid of her, some even unwilling to talk to her. Tina’s supporters blamed Bette for the reason that Tina left, because after Tina Kennard vanished from the school, they’d again became Adele’s victims, and Bette couldn’t do anything to help them.

Now here she is, standing in front of the fortress of the most dangerous criminal of all time, probably might sacrifice her life, but if it is what it is, she will face her fate, at least she tries to save more lives from these villains.

Bette once thought Aaron was overstating about this criminal organization, but after standing at the outside gate of the enormous place and seeing the construction with her own eyes, she finally realized that he was right.

There is a huge mansion in the middle of the manor, with ten to twenty small houses surround it like a middle century castle, next to the mansion and the classical architecture is a three stories modern business building built with beautiful reflective glasses, covering by a big artificial forest and natural landscape, the glasses make the whole structure uneasy to discover, like a hidden city.

    1. Hi! Thanks for the new chapter!

It’s seems that Tina didn’t recognize Bette, but why?

And second, if Tina in charge and she responsible for the killing, kindnaping, drugs and etc – i don’t know, but she don’t deserve for happy finale. She made her choise – and needs to pay for it, and her childhood can’t be excuse for crimanal life now

    2. Hi, CJ

Excellent chapter, so, Tina is still very wounded about what happened in high school, I guess those events mark deeply people’s life, it shows in her cold and bitter behavior.

I think she probably recognized Bette, but she has powerful reasons for faking she doesn’t know her. Thanks for the chapter, I’ll be waiting for the next one.

      • Wondering if Tina actually remember Bette and pretend that she doesn’t know her..or in 5 years something happened and Tina forgot her past including Bette?
And I think Cooper boss is Dean (Tina’s missing father) .. just curious how he could find Tina again? And how was Tina’s aunt? Five years ago, She had heart attack…did she survive from it or she passed away?

Hope I could get the answer soon..☺️

    3. Hi CJ,

Just what i thought, that Tina is Justine Cooper, but i really hoped that she wouldn’t end up as a cool blooded criminal.

I believe she recognised Bette, but has her reasons not to show it in the room, looking forward to their meeting in Bette’s room.

I saw you have all my least favourite characters from the L Word as bad guys and girls.

Can not wait for the next chapter!!!
