“Y’alright?”
Shane says while she pulls Bette up, she threw a coat on the half-naked brunette, Bette instantly grabs the coat and cover her body.
“Jesus…”
Bette sits up, she rubs her head, it’s hurt like shit.
“What is she? A Hulk?”
“You can say that, yes.” Shane says. “Here.”
Shane hands Bette some ice and pours her a glass of wine, the brunette puts the ice bag on her head.
“Thanks, for saving me.”
“Sure thing.” Shane shrugs her shoulder. “Sometime Jodi really is the pain in the ass.”
“You bet.” Bette takes a large sip of the Gin, she winced in pain by the strong liquor, her nerve finally comes back a little.
“Better?”
“Sort of.”
Shane nods her head, she takes away the almost empty glass from Bette’s hand and pours her another glass.
“Thanks.”
“No problem.”
They remain a long pause, none of them speak, the tension between them is weird.
While Bette is drinking the wine, Shane takes out her gun and starts to wipe the muzzle.
“You could have left me to die, you know.”
Shane stops her movement.
“Huh?”
“You know, leave me to her.”
“You are out of your mind.”
“I thought you hate me.”
Shane raises her eyebrows. “Where did it come from?”
“Well…you know…I treated you badly those days, and you know…” Bette doesn’t want to continue.
“Yeah…those days.” Shane shrugs her shoulder. “I have to admit I had a bad impression of you, either first or now.”
“So?”
“So what?”
“So if you didn’t have a good impression on me, why don’t you just leave me to Jodi? It’s a great opportunity for revenge…I mean, what are you thinking? I could be dead by now if you don’t do anything.”
“God, Tina was right, she does have lots of question…” Shane rumbles to herself.
“What did you say?”
Shane remains silent, now it’s Bette’s turn to raise her eyebrows.
“Wait, hold on…speaking of that, what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be with Ti—Justine? And its curfew now how can you wandering nearby my room?”
Shane rolls her eyes and pats her forehead with her hand.
“Right, I almost forget…Ms. Cooper wants me to inform you that you are going to Hong Kong this Friday, the drug business needs an outdoor accountant.”
“Hong Kong?”
Hong Kong, the global financial center and major ports, one of the most modernized countries in Asia, but also, the best assembly point for drug dealers and Faction.
“What? You never been there before?”
“No, no, it that…I thought she would never let me go out since she knew who I am.”
“You mean a complete asshole or a sucker?”
“Very funny.” Bette rolls her eyes.
Shane makes a weird smile.
“Don’t worry, Justine knows what she’s doing,” Shane says as she blows off the dirt on her gun. “The question is, do you?”
Bette looks at Shane, her brain is blank.
“Before I went here, yes.”
Bette looks out the window, facing the direction of Tina’s room. When the time really comes, will she have the nerve to tackle the blonde and bring her to face the justice?
“But after all of these, I’m not really sure if my decision was right now.”

Hey guy, please don’t hate me about what happened last week, as you can see something is happening and Tina has to do something to protect Bette. Here is some spoiler…before they start their real conversation, a huge incident is going to happen, some of the hints will be in the story, well…if you can find it. XDD
Thank you for all your comment, I did really read it and I really really want to reply to you all! Just busy as hell, not complaining but sometimes the application affairs for the U.S graduate program can be really frustrating…XDD

Wonderful chapter, so, Tina has her own plan and her own group inside this criminal organization.
Does Tina know something else about Bette? I mean, besides what Bette told her.
Is Tina trying to make a coup or is she trying to break the organization? Is she sending Bette far away to protect her?
Well, anyway, we will know soon in the next chapters.

If Bette goes to HK, as Tina told to Shane, this could be Bette’s first mission, and Shane will go to HK too to protect her; so Tina will be staying without her main allied, isn’t it dangerous?

Ohh Bette, Bette – are you really police officer? Or maybe accountant your true role? Because you so physically and morale weak – nothing had change for 5 years. Bette still allow all other persons dominante ner – Adele, Tina, Shane, Jodie. How she can protect other persons like police officer, if she can’t protect herself?

And i forgot most important part – is Tina dying? From what ilness? Is she can be saved?

Bette is a detective, her brain is more functioning than her physical strength, she has her own way to protect Tina, just…have to survive till then.
Tina is not actually dying dying, I mentioned in the story, she needs to rest, but thanks for asking.

Bette needs to show she is a strong, mental and physically, woman, as a undercover she has to be carefull but she just lets everything happen,
Is her feelings of guilt that big that she wants to die?
Jodie is a horrible bitch, i hope she overdose on drugs.
Tina aka Justine, wonder what her plan is, if she has a illness that is going to kill her, i don’t think she is planning to take over the organisation but is going to blow it up. Maybe she is L.
Please don’t let Tina die, i need a happy Tibette ending after all the drama that is sure to come.

I believe Bette’s brain function better than her body, she’s good at coming up ideas and observe, fighting is not her specialty, she is a detective before, only do more brain works. And if she’s really good at fighting, her fade id as an accountant will be exposed.
Jodi…Jodi…dislike her also, I’m also wondering why she hasn’t lost her brain activity.
Okay, spoiler again, Tina is not L, and definitely not Bette, so the suspect reduces two people.
As for Tina’s future…I believe you don’t want to know it now so I’ll just save it for myself. XDD

wondering why Bette keeps being surprised by Jodi. She knows J wants to jump her bones! Even an account knows to slap, kick, pinch an assailant somewhere!!
