The Nightmare
As if on cue, Kit placed a latte in front of Tina along with a green smoothie and a cheese danish.
“She ordered for you,” Kit said, nodding towards Alice.
“Thanks, Kit.”
Kit touched Tina’s arm and smiled.
“You’re welcome,” Alice rolled her eyes.
Tina and Kit exchanged looks. Kit shook her head. Tina loved the women in her life. Her chosen family.
“Now spill. Porter hasn’t called me back yet.” Alice huffed.
“Hmmm…I should’ve let you go to voicemail.”
“Hey!” Alice pushed Tina on her arm.
Tina chuckled.
“How was it,” Alice whined.
Kit leaned against the table. Both hopeful as they waited for Tina to say…anything. Tina looked between them and shook her head.
“It was fucking amazing,” Tina smiled.
Alice squealed as she clapped her hands.
“Way to go, Baby Sistas!”
Tina chuckled. It was a fucking amazing night.
“Spill it right now or I swear…”
“Okay. Okay. Okay. She wouldn’t tell me anything about what she had planned. I’m still amazed at how she pulled it all together. She was always like that though. She always had some sort of surprise for me.”
Tina bit her lip. Alice and Kit couldn’t help but cheese.
“She took me to Malibu. We walked on the beach and then we rode horses as the sun was setting.”
“I didn’t think you could ride horses on Malibu Beach. How did Porter fucking pull that off?”
Tina laughed.
“Right. I was in awe. Apparently, this company is trying to make it a permanent fixture. The City approved them for a few sessions and Bette got us one.”
“Way to go, Baby Girl.”
“It was perfect. We trotted along the beach as the sun was setting. We talked and laughed. Then we raced. I felt so free. It was really nice. Then…”
“There’s more.”
Tina nodded.
“Daaaammmnn. Bette was on a mission.”
“A mission for what?” Kit asked.
“A mission to get back into Tee’s panties.”
“Al!” Tina playfully reprimanded.
Kit rolled her eyes.
“What’d I say?” Alice shrugged.
“Anyways…keep going. What happened next,” Alice prodded.
“We walked to this obscure building. It looked kinda shabby on the outside. Our names were on the list. When we went inside, it was pretty amazing. They definitely don’t advertise how swanky it is on the inside.”

Good advice from Julia…. I hope it works out for these two. Thanks for the update… like to see more.
Thanks for reading!!! I hope it works out for them too.
So good to see a update on this absolutely brilliant written story!
I’m glad they have Julia as therapist, honest and not afraid to tell some truths.
I have the faith they will reunite, stronger than ever but the path leading to that is full of bumps on the road.
Brilliant to see an update. Thank you so much and please write more soon.
