The Perfect Getaway – Chapter 6
Tina quickly turned around with a fire in her eyes that Bette loved so much. She looked deep into her wife’s hazel eyes, watching as they darkened with lust. A couple resurfaced from the crystal clear water, splashing them both but neither woman seemed to notice or care. The cool droplets did nothing to quell their desire for one another
"You’re horrible" Tina laughed as she playfully pushed Bette’s hands away, her wife’s teasing was recreating that delicious ache between her legs.
Bette smiled, more than ready to keep up her teasing but she was reminded of what she had to do. Her smile fell away as she wrapped her arms around Tina’s waist and took a deep breath for courage. The blonde’s eyebrows knitted together with confusion as she watched the way Bette’s features changed. Still, she stood quiet in fear that Bette would back down. She waited patiently until Bette felt comfortable enough, smiling when the brunette tucked a strand of blonde hair behind her ear.
"T . . there’s something I-"
Just then, Bette felt something cold and wet slap the back of her head. Her hands immediately went to the source, her eyes widening when she felt something slimy tangled in her curls.
She screamed instinctively and stumbled backward, losing her footing and falling off the boat. She choked on her scream as she hit the water with a hard splash and the blue salty water filled her mouth.
Bette went under but not for long, using her instincts and her skills in swimming to push herself back up to the surface. She broke through with a gasp, coughing and spitting out whatever water she hadn’t swallowed.
Brian’s laugh was the first thing she heard and Bette decided right then that she hated the sound.
"Oh my God did you see her face?!" Brian threw himself back on the rippled water as he laughed. Bette shot him a look of pure death.
Tina was the next to receive the look, laughing in agreement as she lowered herself onto the deck of the boat.
Something floating in the water beside Bette caught her attention and she looked down to see a chunk of seaweed floating passed. Slimy seaweed, the very chunk that was in her hair.

Great chapter. Bette can sometimes go off the rails and this was a doozy. When she can get her mind in gear she will do and say the right thing for Tina and herself. Thanks for posting.

Sorry, I’m laughing at some of the comments. Could a vacation get any worse for our couple. I wonder what would have happened had they not had all the disruptions… just saying. Bette’s reactions are normal for someone who didn’t have both parents lovingly support her. We all have our foibles and fears. But, I’m quite sure that in the end she’ll be able to get it together for Tina’s sake. Thanks for an awesome posting!
