    Bette and Tina say goodbye (B&T beginning set on college campus)

    The Roommates – 2nd Dimension: Chapter 38

    The sisters embraced and shared a smile. Kit headed towards the door and as she did so, tossed a look back at Bette.

     

    “Hey Bette?”

     

    “Yeah?”, asked Bette.

     

    “I love you.”

     

    Bette smiled. “I love you, too Kit.”

    Before long, sleep began to rob the young lovers of their consciousness and as the tendrils of slumber began to caress two kindred spirits, Bette rested contentedly on her back with Tina’s head on her chest. She gently stroked flaxen locks as her eyes slowly closed and she whispered, “We needed this, T.”

     

    Tina, her heavy lids already shut, rested on stomach, her arm draped around her lover’s side. She exhaled from the soothing combination of smooth flesh beneath her and warm cream-colored bedding on top of her.

     

    “We did this need, Bette.”, she whispered in return.

    At long last, Sunday had finally arrived and the nightmare that had become her spring break was coming to an end. Kit had volunteered to drive the young couple back to UCLA and the roommates were packing their things in preparation of the short journey.

     

    Bette smiled to herself as she stole a glimpse of Tina bopping along with the beat and mouthing the words to Usher’s “You Got it Bad”. The dark-haired beauty grinned and bit her lower lip, thinking ‘Boy, I do have it bad. I can’t wait till we get back home.’, her eyes studying her girlfriend’s physique.

     

    Tina glanced at her watch. “Kit’s coming at 1?”, she asked.

     

    Bette, wanting to hide her own voyeurism, quickly looked away and nodded, “Yeah, that’s what she said.”

     

    They were still at the Porter residence. The girls had stayed in Bette’s room through the night, reacquainting themselves with each other and reconnecting on a plane where longing, desire, mutual understanding and appreciation all coexisted in melodic harmony. They had even tempered their pleasure somewhat, assuming that Melvin had come home and that he would not be as understanding as Kit when it came to Bette’s ***** life and sexual preferences. What they hadn’t known was that after spending a day on the emerald green Cayman Golf Course, he’d driven out to Vivian’s house and spent the evening with her; returning to the Porter complex in the early dawn to avoid any further suspicion and confrontation.

    3. powerful. i have a melvin. what in the name of god does he think hes doing. the pain that is given, the insecurities sometimes seem insurmountable from someone like this. this was very real. loved the bonding momenys and the janice part. i think shes trying. thanks this was great.

    7. That was great. I think if I was Kit me and Melvin would have been rolling around on the floor. I almost choaked him through the screen. Damn. Im sureyou have drama in the fuure so this was a nice way to end their visit. I hope Bette and her mother are able to form some type of a realtionship.
