    “Thank you,” she said to Tara. “It’s my pleasure, Bette. And don’t worry about paying for anything. It’s all been taken care of,” she replied. “Really?” Tara smiled. “Really. Next thing is Erin is waiting for you in room 2. You’ve got a mani-pedi, eyebrow wax, and full Brazilian.” Bette felt her smile falter then.

    “Thank you,” she said to Tara.

    “It’s my pleasure, Bette. And don’t worry about paying for anything. It’s all been taken care of,” she replied.

    “Really?”

    Tara smiled. “Really. Next thing is Erin is waiting for you in room 2. You’ve got a mani-pedi, eyebrow wax, and full Brazilian.”

    Bette felt her smile falter then. Full Brazilian? I mean, I have noticed that things down there have been well-maintained. I didn’t realize it was due to this. Fuck. I hope it doesn’t hurt.

    It did hurt. And though her eyes had watered like a baby, Bette did feel better and refreshed after all of the treatments were done. Erin mentioned that Shane wanted to see her and led Bette to an office at the back of the salon.

    She was greeted with a warm smile and hug from a tall, thin woman with dark styled hair. Bette met Shane’s soft blue eyes and instantly felt relaxed.

    “It’s great to see you, Bette.”

    Bette nodded. She did have a memory of meeting Shane before, but the memory was somewhat obscured. “Good to see you, too.”

    Shane closed the door to her office. She leaned against the front of a large, marble-topped desk. Shane wore tight-fitting jeans and a long-sleeved, black tee that read simply “Shane” across the chest. She gestured to a chair near the desk and Bette sat down.

    “How did my girls treat you?” asked Shane.

    Bette smiled broadly. “They were absolutely fantastic. This was much needed.”

    “That’s what I like to hear.”

    Shane reached behind her and grabbed a small bottle of shampoo from the desk. It bore the name of the salon and Shane’s blue eyes seemed to twinkle as she held the bottle. “You’ve been away too long, Bette. I want you to use this shampoo to keep your split ends under control. It’s got conditioner and some jojoba oil.”

    “That’s very kind,” said Bette.

    Shane winked. “Nothing but the best for my customers. If you run out or need anything, don’t hesitate to let me know. We even make house calls.”

    Shane was sexy and alluring. Bette liked being in her presence and wondered if they were friends. “Well, thanks for everything. I feel amazing,” said Bette.

      Of course I’ll be sticking with you and this new story! However, do still feel in need of some sort of closure on the old one :-)

    4. Christina Kenard is now Christina Anderson – Chris Anderson. Wonder if that is a married name? She’s 34 years old also. And Bette is a married woman as well….Huummm.. Now the story is taking shape and direction….wonderful.

      Well, Bette found Tina, but this Tina is already married, right?

      Because in your first story, “the roommates” Tina has a boyfriend Eric Anderson, and if she and Bette never met before, that means that she continued her relationship with Eric.

      I remember Eric’s last name was Anderson, and now Chris Anderson means that she married Eric.

      But apparently Tina always had some feeling for women, because in your first story, in their first encounters, young Tina was almost hitting on young Bette; even when she had a boyfriend.

      And now again, she feels something that draws toward Bette Porter and she wants to be friends.

      So, Tina was always kind of attracted by women but it didn’t awake until she met Bette in the other dimension, and here I think it’s awaking, right?

      Okay, I’m ready for the ride.
