”Tee? You didn’t force alcohol down my throat. I did that myself. I lost everything when I lost you. To take away the pain I drowned it in alcohol. But I don’t want to do that anymore. I want you and Angie and I am 100 percent committed to staying sober. I promise you Tee. With everything that I am. I promise”
Tina looks into my eyes and if she can’t see the truth radiating out of them I don’t know what else to do. I’m stunned as she gets up without saying a word and walks to her bedroom. I lower my head and sigh and watch Angie open up another gift. How in the hell are we going to get all of these gifts back I wonder as I see Tina return and sit back down beside me.
She grabs my hand and turns my palm up. I’m scared as she puts her ring in my hand. My heart is breaking as I clutch it tightly in my fist. I turn to get up but she stops me.
”Stop! Don’t you dare get up from this sofa Bette Porter. Not until you properly slip that ring back on my finger where it belongs” She says holding out her left hand slightly lifting and extending her ring finger.
Here I go being the blubbering idiot again as I sit back down with tears streaming down my face and hear Tina chuckle at me which I can’t blame her. I smile at her and unclench my fist as I pick the ring up with my fingers and slip it on her ring finger.
”I love you Tina”
”I love you too Bette”
Tina leaned in and kissed me as we melted into each other’s arms. At that moment my life was complete. As we continued to kiss I felt a tap on my shoulder and look to see Angie holding out a letter addressed to both me and Tina.
”Here Mama and Mama B. Santa left this for you. I’m going to go back and play with my presents now”
”Thank you baby” Tina says as we look at each other and roll our eyes at receiving yet another letter.

Ok, tomorrow, when i read that chapter i write something more about it.
Thanks so much for finishing this story. Without giving away any spoilers I enjoyed how it all ended. I really laughed at the humorous notes SS had left for them at the appropriate moments. Bette could sure be a cynic, alcohol or not.. Thanks again and I look forward for more Bette and Tina stories as they are my fave couple of all time.
So happy for this final chapter. Loved that they are back together and can continue the love they have for each other and by doing so giving Angie a family. Great story. What about an epilogue for this lovely story. I know, never satisfied. Thanks for posting.

So, maybe epilog – because B&T have many things to resolve between them and look to the future will be interesting.
