    The showdown

“Now Tina, this is really uncalled for …” William spoke up as the tension in the room was escalating.

“Uncalled for? You know what’s uncalled for … a billionaire stealing the negatives of his own movie just so he can put in a claim for insurance money.”

“What are you talking about?” William stood to his full 5’4 height. Tina towered him by a good 4”.

“You tell me William. Are you in cahoots with this bald impotent worm and this scourge of the earth miscreant to fuck me over?” Tina asked now turning her venom on the investor. She needed to understand his role, since Trevor’s investigation had tied him to what they suspected was the $5M payoff.

“Honestly Tina. I can’t believe your audacity.” William answered incensed at the implied accusation.

“Fuck this. We’re done here. I’ll leave it to the FBI to sort it out. Ms. Villa, Mr. Winters thank you both for your time. Max I’ll be in touch. If you need to reach me call my cell phone. I’ll be staying in Vancouver for the next month on leave.” Tina picked up her phone and left the room.

    “What the hell just happened?”

    “She’s flipped.”

Max’s voice was heard for the first time. “By the way Aaron in case you’re wondering you’re fired and I’d watch the name calling unless you want to face a defamation lawsuit. Don’t bother to come back to the studio, just make sure Sally knows where to find you.”

“What about my movie?” William asked addressing Max.

“William, rest assured that a full-blown investigation is already on the way. The FBI has been notified and we already have some solid leads that are being pursued. I’d advise everyone to make yourselves available for questioning and have legal counsel present. Do not make any attempt to contact Ms. Kennard. Sally will handle any correspondence on her behalf. Sally please make sure William knows how to reach you”

“Will do Max.” Sally said pulling out a business card and handing one to William. Max signed off wishing everyone safe travels. Sally disconnected the video conference line and all the screens went black.

    1. To go thru all that she has and still believe that some people are trustworthy and to find out they are not was truly the eye-opener TINA needed to see.TINA came into that ring and bitch slapped those three stooges(larry, curly, and moe)like she was MMA. She showed up and showed out,YES!!.Thinking she would go down without a fight was a HUGE mistake .A woman who stood to lose not only her good name and livelihood but a career she neglected her family for in the process is a dangerous adversary if crossed and that is the one crucial element they forgot to take into account. Now on to the next thrilling episode of TINA and the three stooges.GET’EM.Worth the wait and then some.THANKS,ps.

    2. Thanks for this BAT – hope my ‘little nudge’ was responsible !

Please keep going with this super story and have faith that the outcome will be great..

You have brightened my cold Sunday morning here in the UK, Thank You Again and PPS :-)

    3. SassyGran, in case your “litte nudge” inspired Bat to update and continue with this incredible story, i would like to thank you!

Well done Tina and just like Kate, i really love to see Tina in suit, she is so hot and alpha in it.

      Thank you for the update!

    4. Left a comment Sunday night, don’t know what happened to it. Said it posted, evidently not. Had said that I agree totally with “dunnthat.” Liked the chapter a lot and you know how much I like Tina, especially when she is ticked off. Just glad she was able to keep her cool and scared the hell out of all those a–holes. With her parting shot at them they don’t know what to think now. Hopefully Bettes’ investigator and attorney can find eric and slap them all in jail. Maybe now one of them will slip up and make that one mistake that will catch them all. For some damned reason they don’t think Tina is smart enough to filter the clues. Hope they can put all of them so far back in a cell, daylight will have to be piped to them. The crooked S.O.B.’s. Thanks for the chapter. Waiting not too patiently for the next one.

    5. You r doing great…It’s a wonderful story..so much sweetness and enough intrigues that will keep the ball rolling…please don’t put us on hold to know the upcoming chapter..it’s been way to long since the last chapter..tks

    7. Hi BAT2012, I have been rereading a lot of great fiction about B & T and came across yours. I immediately remembered this one. It’s been 3 almost 4 years since you’ve posted. I got myself all fired up and then was left without closure. Please I need to know how Kate, Eric, Mark, and William get caught, and how Bette, Tina, Alex, and the rest of the family deal with the fallout. How does life get better when they get back to their day to day lives? I am still reading the rest of your work, but would love to see this one come to fruition. Please post soon.
